Hope you see this, I poured antifreeze in my left hose and it cycled as it should but when I did the small hose at the top on the right side it just filled a little bit and nothing came out the exhaust

I've always owned outboards thinking they were less work. I was right:) Nice instructions though, I appreciate it and I might own a stern drive someday. One thing I've found as an easy way to install the impeller, is to first put it in place with the key as well, then spin the driveshaft while placing the cover on it. what happens is that this causes the impeller blade to collapse so the cover goes on. Took me about 30 years to catch onto that trick.

Any clue on how many key cycles it should take to clear? The code came up again today and I just replaced it Monday. Any ideas help!

What about manifold and riser, consumables, clean every couple of years, replace before they rust sufficiently to impede flow.

if you have a 5.3 and need to change oil pressure sensor this is the video to watch. if your pick doesn't work getting the filter out try a large screw. there are videos with that trick but this is by far the best video start to finish and yes there will be grunting and cursing while changing lol. i'm 58 and a first timer replacing oil sensor, thanks for the video!

You are putting it on too thick. You goal is to penetrate the wood. Supposed to thin the resin with up to 10% volume or weight acetone or other resin thinner chemical. Acetone is low VOC so maybe least toxic to use than other resin thinning chemicals. Always mix resin in small batches because it’s exothermal and can harden if you have not thinned it.

Can you fill a large pail full of antifreeze and drop the lower unit in the pail of antifreeze and just let it run and circulate? Take the prop off and have it done this way?

Just a tip run StarTron Enzyme treatment in every fill up. I religiously use this product every fill up since 2011 in 2023 decided my carburetor has never been cleaned so ordered a rebuild kit and some carburetor cleaner. Took carburetor apart spotless no gum varnish dirt nothing so I put it back together and it’s run flawless all year 2024. Stuff really works.

Got one from the road side and experienced the same 45 min runtime issue. I assume it's heat related steel rings in an aluminum head. Heat swell and a lighter oil may help. Not an expert though. Cleaned the carb, gas tank and replaced the pull cord and off running. Steel gas tanks is my biggest negative plus the fuel filter in the tank . External filter would be user friendly. A plastic tank would prevent rust and clogged filters.

1/8” hole drilled through the gas cap should stop the engine issues. Also slicks on the rear really help these karts out. Fewer chances of rollovers and helps with steering. Live axles don’t want to turn great so a little slip in the rear tires helps a ton

Mine gave me a ‘clean’ display and I added the cleaner to the brine tank like it states and then regen’d it then when I came to check on it the tank where the salt goes is full of water for some reason. Any idea why that might be?

I have the Walmart cheap onn 20 inch and trust me that one sounds terrible. But I use it for my room! But I prefer the Vizio surround sound systems. There’s even a trapezoid shaped 6 speaker sound bar out there that is also good!
