Hi ! I'm a recent intermediate player and I chose to learn songs that I love, because it gives so much power to the learning curve ! this one is, indeed easy, but beautiful ! You did a very good job at teaching and btw you sing very well too ! subscribed ;)
Amber at minute 12.15 when you explain the chord changes, you count to 6 while playing the last chord well and then you move and you succeed in the sequence without the open strings but then when you sing you move afterwards the 5th chord and you play open strings it sounds fakse. some Nirvana songs are like that but it’s composed like that. here you don't have to go through the open strings. you explain in one way and then you play in another when you sing :)
Good afternoon again Amber .... at least where i am 9 hours away . I am having a busy Sunday , but needed to see what todays song was in between my tasks . Seriously , if you have not done so , you really should compile about 8 or 10 songs of your preference and record a CD ... or whatever the big thing nowadays is to do . Personally i do not know anyone that downloads. We are either radio or CD users .... each to their own i guess . A long time friend of mine who dated her husband back in high school , opened a music recording studio a couple decades ago. It's pretty straight forward to put everything into motion. You could record all the instrumental at once , therefore focus on the acoustic guitar with who you are having back you up on other instruments , and then record the vocals separate so that you can get the best result for each of your musical contributions . I know of a couple local musicians , one owns a boutique guitar store , and they each have done really good work in their recordings . The boutique guitar shop fella did a strickly finger style all instrumental CD . You've got it girl 😁
Wow what a really awesome message, firstly thank you for thinking I am good enough to record my music! That is very kind of you to say 🙏 I’ve written some of my own music and the idea is to start putting it up on TH-cam this year sometime… I’ve got recording equipment which I just need to learn how to use. It’s in the works 🌟🙏 Thanks for tuning in and for sharing your wonderful idea 💡

Wow, wow how awesome was that? Anybody not supporting this channel is being left behind. Thank you so much Amber. All good here in SA apart from our daily doings which I'm sure you are aware of....no power no water 😢😢 Life goes on. Pray you guys are well. Take xare, love and blessings from Phalaborwa. 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🤗🤗
Hey Schalk 😊 so glad you enjoyed my lesson! You are so kind and sweet to be supporting my channel- it means a lot! 🙏🎵 yeah I hear times are extra tough at the moment in SA 🙈 sending you all the positive vibes and hope things improve soon in our home country 🇿🇦 🙏
Olá tenho aprendido com muitos outros professores cá pelo TH-cam mas finalmente encontrei alguém vom grande capacidade de ensino. Parabéns. Continua que eu por cá também irei aprender bastante....Obrigado Saudações de Portugal 👍
That was well done. Will share this with a mate i just lent one of my 🎸 s to. This song makes me cry whenever I try to sing it. Perhaps my mate will fare better.
Just a heads up if youre playing this on electric guitar and you’re wondering how benson got the sound to play on the last sting on the E cord you just pick it how you normally would and then do a bend on the last nore
@@user-fp8lh9gs5l no magic pill here I'm afraid. My advice is repetition and slowing the movement down. One strum on E, then one strum on F#m7. Repeat for 1 minute. Do that every day for a week and I guarantee your changes will be a lot smoother 👏 focused and intentional practice is the key.
Great voice, I'm a beginner here. For the Chorus part at 11.27, looks like the chord was out of sequence with D x A x E , F#m7 instead of D x A x F#m7, E?
Wow this is such a great tutorial! I've only been playing guitar for about 8 months but I'm so keen to learn this song. Do you have a chord sheet available as a download so I can make some notes please? Thank you!
Hi India 😊 that’s amazing, I’m so glad you are enjoying my lessons over on TH-cam! I do have chord sheets available but they are only accessible to my students who sign up and buy my guitar course, The Stellar Academy. As you are so new in your guitar journey, you might want to check it out! Here’s the link: thestellarguitarist.com/course/thestellaracademy
Hi Bethany, congratulations on your guitar journey! 😃 I would highly recommend buying a capo - using one will open the doors to playing SO many songs!! They are not too expensive. I think you will love using a capo - it is my favourite guitar gadget!
Hello it is an excellent guitar, of course it has its price but is basically perfect for traveling, if your motivation to learn is great enough then I would say yes without hesitation, in the academy there are three of us who have GSmini,
Hi! Yea it is a Taylor GS mini and I love it! I think it’s a great guitar for a beginner because of its small scale. 😊 maybe get lower gauge strings put on the guitar so that it’s easier play 🎵
❤❤❤❤🤩wow soo beautiful❤❤❤... Ur voice soo loving.... I have write some love songs can we give some beautiful music... Something different scales... U are best ❤❤
Amber , when at minute 14.36 you have D 6 times A. E. Fm7 But you play D 5times and then open strings and after 3 times the same ! Open strings are false notes and hurt ears! You sing well but you have to be more precise with the guitar if you do tutorial
open strings ringing out before chord changes can work as accidental embellishment, which sounds pretty cool if you ask me! They can help make chord changes feel less clunky and jerky and give more groove to your playing.😎 Happy strumming Roland!

I guess that when I am playing and singing I am just feeling the music 😊
sorry it's just a lack of technique and a common fault to facilitate the game among self-taught people

Yes, if you want to play along with the original track. But if you want to just play and sing it yourself, you do not need one 😊
