This is the first ever Fromsoft game where I chose to side with what the guiding npc tells me to do. To arrive in Layndell and get flashes of Anor Londo, I could never think of destroying such beauty.
In my mind for me, Sekiro and Elden Ring have been the pinnacle of FromSoft’s music. Sekiro especially I adore for its combat and boss themes, a area which I think Elden Ring is weaker in. But Elden Ring’s ambient tracks, especially with the Capital is some of the best I’ve heard in any kind of game. It’s a thing of beauty.
All that life that was in royal capital just gone in an instant everyone there dead. Rip to all the avatars and leyndell knights. Also the oracle envoys.
