Good video, the quality of those prints are amazing but i prefer homemade printed things no matter how ruff they look. Good to see that even resin nylon prints they cant get a clear lens. Also good to see the 2 masks compared fdm version. I prefer the bambu lab one out of the 2 but both are very cool prints 👍 The price you paid is extremely cheap for the time it taken them to print it and work they put into it. Seems impossible to make any profit on fdm when they can bang out a perfect quality product like that at that price
Having them print this in PLA was also much more expensive. I originally was going to get the eye frames made out of metal, but it was out of the budget.
Jeremy have you tried the resin smoothing method on your helmets? You do a quick sand with 400 grit paper then just go over tge helmet with resin, just brush it on. Then a fast sand with 600 grit then prime n paint....the finish will be super smooth and no layer lines
@FigureFeedback if you do try it make sure to get UV resin...not 3D printing resin. UV is a bit thinker and cures faster. Just use a blacklicht bar for a couple minutes ☺️

I haven't tried that. I'm still a little paranoid about uncured resin getting trapped somewhere. I'm sure I'll come around eventually though.
