! Welcome to another video. In this video, we’ll be cooking my favorite banana bread recipe while also discussing a topic I haven’t addressed before: the age gap between my husband and me. We recently celebrated his 50th and my 30th birthday, and there have been many comments about our 20-year age difference. Although I haven’t focused much on it, I feel it’s important to talk about it and share my perspective. Watch this video, enjoy, and please share your thoughts with me.

You are so graceful and beautiful. I can see how a 20-year age-gap marriage would work for you and your husband.
Not to be judgemental, but it helps that Valerio already had a house and a real job because finances are a hot topic early in marriage.
It may work now but not when she's 40 and he's 60 and aging out

He'll become old fast, not be able to perform meanwhile she's still young. She'll become his caregiver. Not a great life to have for a young woman.
Guess she can always get a young lover and the old man won't be aware of it.

For sure age is nothing but a number. Sometimes when you are with someone who is way older it doesn't seem like it. It really is who you vibe with!

My parents have a 17 year age gap. My dad was also very very energetic and was young at heart. They were set up by a mutual friend & my mom says my dad looked super young when she first met him & had no idea his real age. They were together for almost 30 years and he passed away in 2018 but in terms of couples with age gaps I’m so used to hearing about big age gaps because of my parents & don’t find them weird or abnormal at all. Sometimes they really do work the best

Welcome back Vita, we missed you! I don't think I would be happy in an age-gap relationship, but I love your relationship (what you show of it) and I love the point that you emphasize: both partners must respect each other regardless of age, and there can't be a power dynamic that means its not an equal partnership. I think that is the most important part of any relationship
Also, very clear you had "good instincts" from a young age when you were suspicious to bring a guy with you who had no plan when moving to NY. Many people would get caught in that trap and it would hold you back/ derail your success.

Vita, I have been watching you for some time now and love your videos. My fiancé and I are 29 years apart (I’m 33, he is 62) . Thank goodness both of our families are supportive like yours. We get looks from strangers, well actually it depends on the city. When we are in Miami, not so much as I see quite a few other age gap couples too. But here in Boca (we are an hour away) a lot of stares. When we travel abroad, mostly nobody cares lol as long as we are polite. I thought it was funny because my fiancé is super active too and some people his age complain that they cannot do as much because they are “old”. Then I tell them about my fiancé and they get quiet. 😂 This man has even more energy than me, it’s amazing. I hope I’m like that at 62. I think getting “old” is what you make of it. I love watching you and your beautiful family. Much love 💗

Young women shouldn't waste their youth on older men.

i was married with 20 y older man for 13 years from when i was 18 y young ( and yes he was 38 )... never again !... its just so off ! Luckily i don't have kids with him. with no one :-)
20 y age gap is just waaaayyy too big ( my experience ) also for the kids later.. like having almost 60 y old dad when the kid is just 12-16 years old.? (dont know her kids age, iam guessing here ) its off !!! ew NO.
