Today we have a build for Vegeta, Prince of Saiyans in D&D 5e! If you want to get so angry that lasers shoot out of you, this is the best way to do it. In dungeons & dragons at least, it's easier in the Dragon Ball Z universe.

Yeah... Wisdom or Intelligence definitely needed to be bottom, and honestly from a character standpoint it should be Wisdom, but from a build standpoint I think Intelligence was the way to go.

If you want to Optimize this build, talk with your DM. Your Goal is for these magic itens:
Gauntlets of Ogre Power (Uncommon) for STR 19. It will be changed later in-game
Amulet of Health (Rare) for CON 19. Because it's CONSTITUTION
Bracers of Defense (Rare) for +2 CA without armor/shield.
Belt of Giant Strength (Rare-Legendary) for STR 21-29 depending on the type of belt.
Then, you can focus your ASI on Dexterity and Wisdom. Beacause your wife is the most rich person in the entire universe, making what you need is a walk in the park to your genius wife ^^

This was honestly so Vegeta it's scary. I'm honestly impressed just how accurate this is to his character and abilities. If on a lower power scale.

Somebody asked about a build for Undyne from Undertale, but I can't find the comment now to reply to it specifically. If you're reading this, good sir and/or madame, this is my take on it: Soldier background, Fighter 2/Undying Warlock 18. Be sure to take the "Spear Master" feat from Unearthed Arcana (you can get it at 1st level if you choose Variant Human, there's no need to be a Triton because of your 10th level Patron ability unless you _really_ want to breathe water _now;_ other race suggestions include Half-orc, Orc, Bugbear, Scourge Aasimar, and Beasthide Shifter, all have good traits that work in-character).
Make sure to take your first level in Fighter so you get proficiency with heavy armor, since you only get light and medium if you multiclass into it later. All we really _need_ from Fighter is heavy armor proficiency, Second Wind, and Action Surge; you can go up to level 3 for Archetype perks (I like Maneuvers, personally), 5th level for Extra Attack, and even up to 7 Fighter levels if you _really_ want to get the Eldritch Knight's bonded weapon and war magic (make an attack with your spear after throwing a bunch of magic spears (Eldritch Blast), because Undyne really likes hitting things with spears), but then you lose out on Undying warlocks 14th level perk, and you _are_ "Undyne the Undying" after all.
Alternately, replace the Fighter levels with Paladin (Vengeance or Heroism oath, obviously) and you get Divine Sense (for sensing INJUSTICE), Lay on Hands (your unusual amount of Determination keeps you going), Smites (you hit like an out-of-control freight train), and access to the spells Compelled Duel (the Green Soul ability), Heroism, and the Smite spells; or you can go Ranger (probably Hunter or Gloomstalker) to get a Favored Enemy ("Humans" would be in character, but maybe not necessarily appropriate for your campaign), Primeval Awareness, and the spells Ensnaring Strike (the Green Soul ability), Hunter's Mark, and the shooty spells (Conjure Volley and Conjure Barrage work with thrown weapons such as spears or javelins) but going this route makes you reliant on physical ammo and you don't get your trademark heavy armor. The Vengeance Paladin option actually _might_ be worth going to 7th level for Relentless Avenger and losing the 14th level Undying warlock perk, but Heroism only needs 5 levels, or even just 3 if you don't care about Extra Attack.
Because you're an Undying warlock, you're astoundingly tanky even without heavy armor and you can throw magical spears (Eldritch Blast (8 shots at once if you Action Surge)), you can breath underwater (say it's because of your gills), you age super slowly (say it's because you're a monster), and if someone brings you below 0 HP, you can stand back up, regain 30+hp in a single turn, and proceed to keep fighting. All while your Bard bestie stands there going "Nyeh Heh Heh!"

Timeless body is actually a thing in dragon ball as Saiyans stay in their prime till like their 80's also I just thought I should mention Goku is like 50 years old I think
He is 47 years old chronologically. Physically it's a bit more complicated. He's spent several years dead wherein he did not age but also spent a few years in the hyperbolic time chamber which would speed up his aging a little. Physically, he is currently 43.

Pro tip: Make it a Revenant Subtype so you get the "stronger every time he almost dies" part down (somewhat), and give it the goal to be stronger than Goku.

I'd love to see more characters like vegeta built. Don't get me wrong, I love it when characters mesh nicely into D&D, but I really love the videos where it feels like you had to really work to make the character feel right. To me, It's a lot more satisfying to see a Bayonetta or Vegeta video than a Reinhardt video where he's just a straight level-20 Paladin.
I kinda disagree. While Turlock makes all of his videos entertaining I don’t like the ones where he’s trying to fit lvl40 characters in lvl20 builds. I don’t know much about Bayonetta but with builds like Vegeta and Superman it can’t really work. While I’ll support whatever work he does I never minded the straight 20lvl builds. It doesn’t matter if it’s 20 lvls of paladin because every paladin can be different.
Yes, my second favourite dragon ball character is on the series, I'd like to see goku black on this series. I'm thinking mostly his ability to make weapons out of ki and getting stronger by being hit.

There is a monk subclass called SoulKnife monk. You could check that out
Oathbreaker Paladin/Hexblade Warlock.
Craft that his sword is the one he's able to summon, and through being a Hexblade with 'pact of the blade' he'll be able to morph his hexweapon into whatever weapon he wants. I would say more paladin than warlock as I recall Zamasu was more the caster of the two - or rather - the sword/scythe thing was Goku Black's most distinguishable thing (minus the OBVIOUS pink hair)

@@justintack5205 not gonna lie, after i made Vegeta a Wildhunt Shifter (which things cant get advantage on him, meaning Reckless Attack has no downsides), i then went on to make Trunks a Swiftstride Shifter (i typically make the saiyans into shifters) Samurai Fighter, which focuses on advantage. meaning he's an amazing character against most things in dnd, but at a direct disadvantage to his father, which actually makes sense

then bounce over to monk and go up to way of the long death Taker is a big guy, but a high flier.
There's actually quite a bit you could give Undertaker. Lightning powers, self-resurrection abilities, ability to create fog, ability to darken his surroundings. All these are things he's used in the past. By that note Kane would be a really fun fire-based build.

He's great at brawling, flight, and faith (which I will count the ki blasts as). He's weak in authority because he's a loose cannon that nobody trusts.
He has great stats aside from abysmal luck and decent charm.

Mine was going to be more about the absurdity of replicating their abilities exactly, as opposed to functional, themed builds.

I'll say that's one thing that annoys me about 5e, that its math really, REALLY relies on the assumption that you're going to max out a single stat.
I remember back in 3.5 and Pathfinder when the damage of Longbows was determined by your strength (and having the right level of composite longbow), meaning that a lot of warriors could and WOULD invest in both.
If only someone combine 5e with e3.5, and Pathfinder we’d probably would have the best game ever. Without home brewing it of course

It's nowhere near as exact, but I think I made a pretty decent Chiaotzu in Pathfinder.
A halfling with the "Creepy Doll" trait (which gives them the pale, doll-like, face and huge staring eyes... It lets them hide in plain sight by going limp)
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Class: Arcanist
The difference between an Arcanist and a Wizard is that a Wizard has to specifically select which and how many uses of a spell they prepare each day. An Arcanist on the other hand can prepare a certain number of spells per day/long rest, and can use any given prepared spell as many times as they have spell-slots.
Say each class has 6 spell slots. Wizards would have to prepare 6 copies of Magic Missile to use it 6 times, and are limited to ONLY that spell until they have another long rest. An Arcanist could prepare 5 different spells but then could decide to use 2 Magic Missiles, 3 Shield, and a Flare Burst, or they could use 5 Magic Missile and 1 Shield, etc.
Arcanists are basically versatile spellcasters. This meant that I could prepare all of the different attack or support spells I wanted for Chaiotzu, and it didn't matter if I needed to change plans on a whim.
While I couldn't find a way to get him to properly Fly at the level he was built at (Lv4 Arcanist), I was able to give him Boots of Levitation, allowing him to float up and down at will, up to 30ft a turn.
This would allow him to float up and out of melee range (though because the BoL only move up and down, I agreed with my DM that I'd lose any AC dex bonus if I'm in mid-air, making me vulnerable to spells and ranged weapons), and bombard the opponents with attack spells from the air... which I relished doing...
Chiaotzu doesn't have that many attacks, so I had to improvise and give him a few attacks from other Z-Fighters. Typically I spells that had Ray or "telekinetic" effects. His signature moves were:
*Magic Missile (basic ki blasts)
*Burning Ray (Dodonpa)
*Scorching Ray (Super Dodonpa)
*Flare (cantrip)/Flare Burst (Lv1 spell)/Burst of Radiance (Lv2 spell) - Solar Flare
*Fireball (Yamcha's Spirit Ball, or even Goku's Spirit Bomb)
And in regards to his telekinetic abilities, he had spells like:
*Mage Hand
*Shield
*Shadow Trap
*Sleep
*Levitate
He had a number of other spells, just because I had to choose stuff as I was levelling up, but I avoided using them for the most part.
The only feat he had worth mentioning was "Eldritch Eye", which gave him an eye in his forehead (ala Tien) that allowed him to use Detect Magic, gave a +8 perception when trying to spot invisible creatures, as well as cast Divination spells at +1 level, for one minute. However, it was a once per day usage.
There was one little homebrew part to this character. It was constantly joked at the table that he was going to blow himself up at some point... so my DM and I agreed that I could give him a tweaked version of the spell "Final Sacrifice" (which is usually a Summoner spell, allowing them to blow up their Eidolon to deal heavy damage to all near by).
She said that if I was ever about to die, or if we defeat the final boss of the campaign... or if I just wanted to change characters... I could do so in style by having Chiaotzu go nuclear! (which I very much did in the final battle... and just like in the series, I failed spectacularly. I went to do it, and completely missed as I ran at the boss, blowing up about 10ft behind him after getting a Nat 1 on my charge attack lol)

His Arcanist Exploits got a little weird, and aren't really necessary for the build. As I played him (eventually he got to Lv7). He started off with a basic healing exploit called Mending Flesh, then Counterspell, and then later on I found I liked the idea of him getting more and more demonic, giving him more evil spells like Corrosive Touch, Curse Lesser Terrain, Animate Dead, etc... so I gave him the exploit "Damnation Sussurrus Su", which played demonic choir music in the head of my target, causing them to hurt themselves in their confusion, dropping any weapons they're holding in the process.
This later added in a fun exploit called Dimensional Slide which let him move in ANY direction up to 10ft per level, as long as I could see the place I would be moving to, all as a 5ft step (so not taking up my entire movement).
I enjoyed floating up in the air and then moving up through a portal to another spot up to 70ft away from where I was, but still in mid-air. It was a great wait to attack enemies who were staying behind cover.
I already remember one time where we couldn't get through a solid door, but there was a tiny gap at the bottom of the door that allowed me to see into the room. This allowed me to use DS to pop into the room and unlock the door for the rest of the group.

Overall, he was a fun character to play. I wish I could remake him in D&D, but I doubt it would be possible.
I think if I was to play that style again, I'd probably make a more generic DBZ character, so as to expand into different types of spells and feats and such.

The weird thing about Gandalf is that he wouldn't be a wizard as far as D&D classes are concerned since his power is a part of himself rather than learned. I'd say he'd be an Aasimar Divine Soul Sorcerer with a Lawful affinity (He's actually more of a full blown Celestial rather than Aasimar but that's not a playable race so we use what we got). I'd say give him a bunch of radiant spells and some utility spells like Detect Magic
The weird thing about Gandalf mechanically is he translates closest to a dex fighter. When it comes to how he is portrayed in the movies he is wielding a sword with a few wizard levels to use a spell storing staff for Daylight. Now that Artificer is a thing Battlesmith would be up his alley so he could use int score for the sword & have the staff as a class feature.
@@0_Body Well yeah that's the movies. In the books he fought with his sword less often and most fights are described as starting with a sudden flash of light and several orcs dropping dead.
He also repelled the Nazgul attacking Faramir's retreating army using a ray of what is essentially Turn Undead in both the book and film

Saiyan Saga fight, vegeta was still able to move and got back in his ship, while goku was unable to move
Majin buu fight, Vegeta knocked Goku unconscious.
Not only that, but everytime Goku "Surpassed" Vegeta, it was because he was being trained in some extradimensional realm by a God. He's had masters training him his entire life, while Vegeta on the other hand, has trained himself.
Vegeta's power and skills are his own. Goku is the product of everyone's best qualities being shown in him.
Goku: Master roshi taught him Kamehameha and how to fight, Kami taught him how to bring out his inner strength, King Kai taught him the way of the God Fist, literally a fighting style for Gods only, taught him how to steal energy from everyone but you and use it to beat someone whos better than you (spirit bomb),
Vegeta: Was killing creatures as strong as Raditz since he was 5. Was conquering worlds his enitre young life.
Vegeta bested Goku in their first fight, and it took several other people interfering to help Goku SURVIVE, not even win, SURVIVE, thats after Goku was trained by a literal God and taught all that Gods moves (Kaioken, spiritbomb).
Then Goku died, and Vegeta kept training, and Goku was being trained, again, by a God, in a dimension where Goku's body had no limits, and his energy had no limits, thus he was able to train 24/7 with no downsides. Meanwhile, Vegeta can't train all day long without breaking his body and having to miss days to recover. By the time Goku was resurrected, Goku and Vegeta were on equal footing. (Babidi's magic only released what was already there, Vegeta stated this himself, if you count this as an "Unfair power up" I'll ask you to remove every powerup Goku ever got from someone else, including kaioken)
Then, here'st he thing people forget. While Vegeta DID eventually knock out Goku in their last fight, People argue that Goku was stronger. But he actually wasn't. Vegeta, was matching him blow for blow, and even getting the better of him a little bit. But what people forget, is that Goku still had his halo. Vegeta was fighting a Goku who had an immortal body, infinite energy, and multiple times more durability. Goku was literally super charged by being dead, and Vegeta was still besting him. By this point, Vegeta is clearly multiple times stronger than Goku, and Goku had not mastered SS3 yet, so you can't really argue that, especially when he couldn't have done that while alive in the first place (by this point.)
AND I can prove i'm right that Vegeta was stronger during the Buu Arc, because the next time we see them is in the Beerus movie. And Goku gets oblitered by one finger from Beerus. Then, Vegeta, ONLY IN SS2, manages to fight and take several blows from Beerus. Goku even acknowledges that Vegeta surpassed him. But here's the thing. Goku was using SS3, which is a 4x multiplier. Goku is literally using 400% more power than Vegeta, and Vegeta is STILL besting him without even trying. Vegeta, literally proven, to be AT LEAST 5 times stronger than Goku by the beginning of this movie, which is basically the same as he was during the Buu Arc (Because Goku was only Vegeta's equal, despite having a body 5x or more, more durable due to his halo, Goku confirms this when Krillin is almost killed by Kid Buu.)
So yeah. Goku never bested Vegeta, only indirectly achieved levels of power higher than his, but guess wwhat, Goku only ever did any of that by having the help of literal Gods his entire life. And Vegeta, did all his training on his own. And Vegeta still ended up being 5x stronger than Goku. Vegeta also learned how to enter the realm of the gods by himself, without the help of everyoen else, though he did receive training from Whis, but he definitely didn't need anyone elses energy to do it. Goku himself admits he could've never done this.
Vegeta surpasses Goku yet again in the Tournament of Power, where his Super Saiyan Blue form becomes equal to Goku's Kaiokenx20 form (they both fight jiren in their full power, and they both do equally well, implying their power is equal at this point.) Which means, Vegeta's new Blue Form, is 20x stronger than goku's blue form.
So if you take Blue Goku vs Blue Vegeta, Vegeta is literally 20 fucking times stronger. Goku had to use Kaiokenx20 to be able to even keep up with Vegeta, and we've all seen this before, the weakness of the Kaioken is that your body will break down and you won't be able to stay in the fight very long. Basically, with kaioken x 20, you can only maintain the form for a few minutes. Goku won't be able to best Vegeta in just a few minutes. Eventually, Goku's energy will fade and Vegeta will remain the victor (His form indicated no weaknesses, in fact, Vegeta showed he has even deeper stamina well than anyone else as he used all of his power in one blow, and was still able to fight jiren the next episode.)
The only thing Goku has is Ultra Instinct. Which. Lets be real. Is some total bullshit. I mean, its awesome, and yeah, it puts him beyond Vegeta. But Goku can't enter that state on his own. He has to be near death to enter that form. And Vegeta isn't stupid enough to allow that, he already proved he can outsmart Goku and knock him out cold in one blow. Goku would never be able to enter UI against Vegeta. In fact, that only reason Goku was able to do it against jiren is because of the no killing rule, otherwise, jiren could've used full power from the start and wiped Goku out before he had time to enter anime power up deus ex machina (Goku stayed on the edge of death the entire tournament, this is how he unlocked UI. If the No Killing Rule was lifted, jiren would've 1-shot Goku at the start.)

@@Kugrox I agree with you in their sayain saga times Vegeta was much stronger than Goku and Goku's victory was simply proving to Vegeta he could push him to the edge, hence the Prince using great ape form and the resulting fight being the Z fighters. 1) The argument that Vegeta has gotten so powerful through mainly his own effort were Goku needed various masters is true, but it misses one of the greater themes of those characters Goku's willingness to be taught is what allowed him to climb further and faster than Vegeta could. In the Sayian in the space of a month Goku went from being outclassed by Raditz to pushing back a full power Galick Gun from what at the time was the strongest known Sayain(Yes Goku was dead for a year but he only trained with King Kai for a month, were as his closest rival at the time Piccolo had a year of training and couldn't even match Nappa). Goku finding masters and willingness to be critical of his technique meant that he trained better, in the Freiza Saga he was the strongest Z fighter and surpassed Vegeta by leaps and miles, such as when he absolutely tore down the Ginyu Force virtually single handedly. Then we havd the Android Saga when both of the attained super sayain but Vegeta for brief moments surpassed Goku, only to be then again out down by the Sayian as his training methods proved superior to both Vegta and Trunks, realizing the weaknesses of the respective super Sayian grades and opting instead to master the form to maximise it's efficiency and train Gohan who he considered to have the potential to go beyond everyone else. In his death he yet again sought people to teach him and to help him grow stronger. That was Vegetas error for one of the longest periods of time his inability to rely on others meant he couldn't achieve the same leaps and bounds that Goku did as such he actively sought a master of his own in the form of Whis.
Secondly: There is a bit of cherry picking for some of your points. In the buu saga Vegeta openly said he realized that Goku was stronger than him and as such he let Babadi boost him further by provoking his blood thirsty side in order to surpass Goku and this was before Goku even showed SSJ3. Sure training wise Goku may have had those significant advantages of having an unread body, (though it's been shown even in the realm of spirits you still need to rest such as Goku taking breaks on his snake way travels, or king Kai making him food during their training) making Vegeta being as strong as he was a huge feat but in doesn't change the fact that he still required a ki wizard to further bolster him to match Goku. Goku having "infinite energy" is also up for debate as immediately after he thought he settled Vegeta he offered to split the sensu bean in order for both of them to heal up. Even working with that point SSJ3 Goku while alive did way better in fighting Buu the Vegeta did, Kid Buu was stronger that Majin Buu and foe Vegeta greatly struggles against, were as ssj3 Goku dominated that buu and went toe-to-toe with Kid buu if it weren't for he crucial fact that this form has way more drain on the physical body than Goku anticipated he could have won that altercation.
It's true in a brief moment Vegeta surpassed Goku and landed several clean hits on beerus. It be wrong to argue Vegeta has ever been in the position of other rivals like Tein in which there are never points where he doesn't have a moment of glory over Goku but if we are to draw examples from Super let's look at the other fights. Goku vs Hit compared to Vegeta vs Hit. In both base and Blue form Goku was way more skilled in handling hit, not only did he figure out a tactic to counter time stop but landed far more hits than Vegeta. Sure in the Manga they gave a reason but those are two separate canons at this point and even then Goku gained a stronger version of Blue in the Future Trunks Saga.

I made a monk once that basically became a dbz character without the saiyan forms. He was a monk of the mantis originally which sacrifices bonus feats for sneak attack, and some stunning fist stuff. I played this character for 4 years so eventually we got to our epic level party, mid-game I started to invest in the dimensional dervish feat tree. So with this feat it uses the dimensional step ki power which acts like a shorter dimensional door spell. It allows you to move twice your speed in 5 foot increments, with later feats it allows you to activate this during combat so I could literally do the dbz blinks they do when they are moving so fast that non saiyan can’t even see them. Also the final feat in the tree allowed any creature I’ve attacked to be considered flanked because they didn’t know where I was coming from. It was a really fun game and the build put out mad damage. Late game I would have to roll like 50d6 a round with my flurry+ sneak attack. Then add my bonuses 6 times which was close to 200 damage alone.
The trope and cliche jokes were over 9,000. So good

Now that unarmed fighting is a thing, I made this build dipping 2 levels into fighter, 5 levels of Zealot Barbarian, and then took a page out of your Goku build and threw the rest into Divine Sorcerer. The stats are spread a bit less thin, I can get d8s on unarmed strikes almost immediately, and stronger "Ki blasts."
Not gonna lie, at first I wasn’t expecting Barbarian on the build, but thinking about it, it makes sense.

If I went with your recommended tweak of replacing the Burning Hands Sun Soul ability with a 4 ki Fly, I'd probably go with a wildhunt shifter rather than an aasimar. I think the "no advantage against me anymore" thing works well with the Saiyan idea, and pairs scarily with Reckless Attack.

Please do a Future Trunks Build, I made him for Eberron 1 Barbarian, 14 Star Druid and 5 Vengance Paladín (to use its sword efficient) also by accident he can turn into a Giant Ape with polymorph, but I would love to see your take on him
Got a little bit of an obscure suggestion. The main character Marty from the show Eon Kid. Was one of my favorite characters when I was a kid and the show is still a good fun watch, although it definitely does show its age in various aspects. I understand more obscure characters might not make for popular videos, but hopefully you'll still be willing to put him somewhere on your list. :)

Definitely a more ki based build than my initial idea. When I went with this I built with fighter/brute being main class, sun soul secondary, and barbarian just enough to rage. I call it "early stage super saiyan" where he has less time as a super. 11 levels of fighter gives his 3 attacks, 7 monk levels for everything up to evasion and stillness of mind(and 7 ki isn't the worst), 2 barbarian for reckless attack and danger sense. He only had up to 2 minutes of super saiyan, but brute gave him an extra 1d6 to his 1d6 on any attack he's proficient with(fists) so he still had good damage on punches. 3 standard, martial arts for 4, or flurry for 5. With the sun soul's bolt I can make 5 blasts for his volley, and action surge for another 3 if I want a massive volley. Only 1 less asi than this build, but less saves since you aren't proficient with them all. He's good in a fist fight, lots of blasting if needed, still has decent movement, and his punches are 2d6+7 with maxed strength and rage. Throw a volley of 8 and he can average over 100 damage, with advantage on 8 hits hoping for a critical. Also brutish durability at lvl 7 lets him add a 1d6 to *every* saving throw he makes, and on a death save if it takes the total to 20+ you treat it as a nat 20 and just wake up with 1 health. Basically instant recovery to rush back in with a second wind. Save a rage for after you down, there's the zenkai boost and saiyan rage. Maybe not ideal, but its fun to make different stages of a character.

I JUST finished making a build of Vegeta and actually googled to see a "popular character dnd build" for goku to see what race they'd gone with and how mine stacked up. Imagine my amusement when the top result wasn't even for goku, but for Mr. Prince himself! I like your build a lot. It's very similar class-wise, and probably better than mine. And I didn't even think to use Aasimar for the race. I was going for an earlier version of Vegeta and went with the Beasthide Shifter for that Giant Ape goodness. In that vein, instead of Zealot, I went with the newer I also went with the Path of the Beast, though I only went to level 3. That way I could get Sun Soul to 17 to get the golden aura. I think yours is better.
And now I want to go and see what other characters you've done, because I've also built, a Samus Aran, a Mega Man, and a Link, which I see you've done, but probably not anything like how I did him. I made him a swarmkeeper ranger so he can attack with swarms of cuccos.
I did this (almost) exact build, only I used a wildhunt shifter, and gave myself advantage on every attack. I rolled for this character, and I rolled 2 18's, so it was a lot more effective than this build would suggest however DON'T ACCOUNT FOR ROLLS THAT GOOD. I only did this build as an attempt to see if it could be done, but it was insanely fun. It's honestly my favorite character and I have a Gestalt campaign coming up, so I'm reviving my Z fignter.

This entire build fits really well honestly, even the cons (well, other than the AC.) Timeless Body? Saiyans stay in their prime till sometime around 80. weakness to speedy opponents? Vegeta vs pretty much anyone quicker than him is a tough win. No AoE power? To be fair, his one useful AoE is Big Bang Attack...
Great video! Additional thought. If you roll for stats and get them good enough you might take 17th level Monk rather than Barbarian 4, if you don’t need the extra stats you can get super Saiyan 2.

The lower AC makes sense because he he makes decisions out of anger that end up causing him to get injured. He get's blinded by pride. Recklessness is just a part of who he is.

But I did anyways. And interesting build! I disagree that the only thing frighening him is his wife - in Super, Kakarot's stupidity is actually the scariest thing.
I think I theorycrafted a version of Vegeta without Monk levels as a challenge (or maybe it wasn't a challenge but an attempt to get Eldritch Blast for energy blasts without stretching with the Monk requirements too). This was pre-unarmed fighting style for Fighters giving an option other than Tavern Brawler, but IIRC the trick I figured out was to reflavor something like handaxes or shortswords into being gauntlets since there isn't a gauntlet weapon in DND. Vegeta ALMOST ALWAYS wears gloves (seriously... even in the Tekaichi Budokai in the Buu Saga, he was down to a tank top and gloves. I think the only time in Z he didn't wear gloves was when Frieza and King Cold came to Earth and Bulma was washing his uniform.

Hey Tulok have you heard of the Vagrant book trilogy? It's a sci-fantasy book based around a mute carrying a legendary sword (and a child, but don't worry about that) to a Shining City so it can be properly used or stored away so the forces of evil can't use it. Sounds interesting for a Hexblade, especially given the sword has a will of its own.
Build suggestion: sylas from league of legends, chains plus stealing abilities would be pretty cool for dnd.
