Really worth, considering the large library with great titles since xbox classic up to xone.

Very I bought a One S it also is a decent 4k blu ray player too. I'm into physical media and between games + movies you can't go wrong.
At this point, it's a great budget console. Most of the physical games are dirt cheap in the used games market. It plays a huge chunk of my 360 collection. And the design of the Xbox One S is just wonderful.
By far the best looking console and a great value proposition. It plays most games and has access to all the media streaming services.
I use my Xbox one (launch model, specifically from December of 2013) all the time. I don’t play cod on it, but skyrim, DBZ kakarot, kotor, doom, borderlands, all halos before infinite, elden ring etc. All games that aren’t that demanding *or* i don’t play a lot. Elden ring is demanding, but i don’t play much. Skyrim, i play all the time, but it’s not terribly demanding. Even Star Wars Jedi Survivor runs pretty good. Its a 2022 game, with last gen port released in 2024, and it shows that with proper optimization, new games can run just fine. Low resolution, a bit grainy, but a stable 30fps. I have a series x, and most games with graphics settings, i play on the 30fps quality modes anyway so it doesn’t feel any different. When you look at how old it is, the technology of the time, and the fact that it plays games that modern consoles sometimes struggle with, its a great. Its not the greatest experience if you’re downgrading for whatever reason, but if you’re still on last gen, or like me using both new and last gen consistently, it’s definitely worth it
Microsoft messed up with the Xbox One's launch, but credit where it's due, the One S was an improvement, and the One X was even more powerful than the PS4 Pro. We even got three Gears of War games that fully utilised their technical capabilities. Honestly, the Xbox doesn't get the recognition that it deserves

If you can't afford the series x you can still get the s for half the price so get that instead of the one x

The One s is the same as the OG xbox one 2013 which is not very powerful. The one x is the powerful one.
NO! Why not? Microsoft stopped making games for the Xbox One as soon as 2021. Therefore it's pointless. For old games sure it's great. But if you want anything new from 2021 onward, you need a PS5 or Xbox Series S/X.
