My point is that games come out now "On PC, Xbox Series consoles, and PS5." There are only a few "also on Xbox One" and they're mostly games like what you mentioned. Yearly releases that don't change their game engine or graphics requirements too often. We'll still get games, but I specifically said Triple A games because those are being directed at the new consoles. Not the Xbox One platform.
Well, they do. It's one of several metrics to look at. But if they actually didn't matter, then the Series X and S TFLOP difference wouldn't matter and they'd perform graphically the same.
@@GarrettCrespo Series S and X you can compare, same GPU architecture One X and Series S you cannot. The S is more powerful, better CPU, different GPU architecture etc
Different architecture, but weaker GPU on the S. I even said that the limitation of the One X comes down to the older CPU architecture. You can have a PC with a great GPU and a crap CPU and it'll output at a higher resolution with sharper textures than a PC with a great CPU and a crap GPU.
@ the gpu is not weaker than One X Xbox One X has 6 year old tech in it. It can't do RDNA2, it can't do ray tracing. Yes it does 4K but that's just because it has more video memory. Having more video memory doesn't mean it has more performance. One X does 30 fps 4K in most games, Series S does 1440p/1080p 60 and 120 fps in the same games when they're enchanced. last gen and next gen in Forza Horizon 5. Series S has ultra level quality of graphics at 1440p while One X does 4K 30 fps with lower level of details because it doesn't have the features new graphics chips in the Series consoles have.
The frame rate limit comes from the CPU being unable to feed the GPU enough data quickly enough. Also, RDNA 2 isn't a feature. It's the architecture. And I said it and to ray tracing. As for Forza the most you'll notice is in it's texture pop-in and load times due to the older storage format and CPU. The it runs closer to the graphics settings of the Series X performance mode, but locked at 4k 30FPS instead of 1080p 60FPS with resolution scaling. The Series S does have a quality mode, but it's still at 1080p 30FPS. But ray tracing is very taxing, so that lower FPS isn't a surprise.
@ yes, you encourage people to spend 150 extra on top of a Series for more storage. At what point do you not just….get a series X instead of peddling an out of date last gen console that can’t play newer titles.
I also recommended maybe springing for the 1TB model instead. I'd only recommend the Series X once more games come out that make it worth getting over last gen. That IS happening, but not enough to justify it yet. At least not to me. And the Series S is good, but no disc drive is a deal breaker. I covered this in the video though. so...

Xbox One X has 6 year old tech in it.
The answer’s no
Did you watch the video?
@ yes, you encourage people to spend 150 extra on top of a Series for more storage.
At what point do you not just….get a series X instead of peddling an out of date last gen console that can’t play newer titles.
I also recommended maybe springing for the 1TB model instead. I'd only recommend the Series X once more games come out that make it worth getting over last gen. That IS happening, but not enough to justify it yet. At least not to me. And the Series S is good, but no disc drive is a deal breaker. I covered this in the video though. so...
@@GarrettCrespo Why get a 1 terrabyte series s, when you could literally just get a series x at that point which solves everything
Cause a 1TB Series S is $349 and a Series X is $499. Thats a $150 difference.
The worst xbox console ever
How so?
I loved the Xbox one but now it sucks for new games so I went to offer up and bought a Xbox x
