Not only were ROH the best wrestling promotion in the US, they also worked with the best Japanese promotion at that time. Unsurprisingly the product was amazing.
Damn I didn't even know about Roh until 2007 when it was on the fight network every day. A 2 hour show every week day. And watched many great matches. Bryan Danielson against Roderick Strong in a 47 minute match, a wicked 6 man tag team match featuring wrestlers from Japan I just can't remember the names
If there is one Gaijin wrestler who can take it to KENTA. It's Samoa Joe without question. He is so versatile with his wrestling style amateur movies and martial arts combos. Plus, the way he can move so fast for a 300 pounder.
Man I love watching the golden era of roh I still believe they still put out good matches to this day even though they do have issues and I do believe that there is room for improvement but I think as time goes on they will improve give it time
Joe's slap landed on KENTA's jaw, and he was practically knocked out. In mixed martial arts, a KO is OK, but in professional wrestling, the match cannot end until it is concluded and the audience is satisfied. Few people understand how harsh it is.
Ring of honor put up matches way better than WWE at the time. Working with some of the best promotions and wrestlers in the best business today. Again things WWE couldn’t do at the time and still can’t do in 2022
They can still produce some great matches nowadays because from what the ratings and the PPV buys have been saying for the past couple years, it seems like to me that they still continue to produce some great storylines with some great talents that includes Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, etc which is why ROH also still produces some great storylines as well anyways.
Samoa Joe just casually walking away from these high risk moves is the most hilarious thing ever
same here. it must be part of Joe's in ring humor
it's probably one of my favorite things in his arsenal lml

really appreciate this commentary style, letting the match tell its own story and providing commentary to fill in between spots
Bryon: "it's the power of positively"
Cory: "shut up Saxton"
(Repete every week)
Michael Cole : 'What A Moment!'
Michael Cole: "Oh my!"
One of the hardest hitting matches I've ever seen! When ROH was at its best and all 3 guys were in their prime, what a time to be a wrestling fan.
Look at all that talent there all these guys are still going strong
ROH In Your Face- June 17, 2006
The closest we ever got to a Joe vs. KENTA singles match... 🤔😒
KENTA masterfully pissed the njpw crowd off during the g1 29 climax finals
better than anything WWE could EVER put out! REAL wrestling with out the bullshit
Back when Joe and Daniels were pro wrestlers and not just "Entertainers". Glad Kenta got the hell out of WWE and went back to Japan.
Kenta was in WWE?
@@GoodFellasPizza08 hideo itami

Great comment! WWE ruined wrestling! all they want to do is cut 15 minute promos and sell pizza
Another Ring of Honor instant classic 👍
ROH will forever be the best ,no doubt in my mind and soul about that...
