A few fun facts about Dark (no spoilers) 1) The Creators, Writers and Directors of Dark are a single partnered couple. 2) This couple was approached by Netflix (not the other way around) to produce a show in German for the German audience (Netflix audience). 3) This couple had planned the story of Dark from the beginning to be 3 seasons long. No amount of money would have stretched this story out further in their mind. 4) Because of the great response to both the first and second season of Dark, Netflix has approached, and requested for this couple to create another series for Netflix. Which is currently in pre - production. To conclude; Netflix has appreciated, applauded and acknowledged the greatness of this couple to create brilliant content for their company, and is asking them to do more! They have been granted and are expected to create another German / Netflix TV show in the near future. I for one am looking forward to it. These people demand respect and I guarantee will be remembered for what they have done. This couple is Jantje Friese and Baran bo Odar. I look forward to their future projects.
i know I always say on my channel 'i'm making a video every day in the month of June' but I will make a video every day until I finish dark season 3 (which will be 12 July for me), then I'll slow it down to 3 videos a week~ also, I just started season 2, you just started season 3...and even though I just started it, I'm feeling sad that it'll come to an end pretty soon :(... i freaking love this show
Yeah, what a gem indeed from Netflix, almost done with Season 2 for me, can't wait for Season 3, hopefully this T.V. Series last for 10 seasons or more - anyway, looking forward to your reactions Mary!
Nice one as always! At 4:05 i can tell by the [metallic hammering] that you're watching with the "English (CC)" subtitles. These closed captioning subtitles not only unnecessarily include every little noise, they are also less accurate, so i would suggest choosing the "English" subtitles instead. On some people's Netflix, it seems to default to "English (CC)" for some reason, but i compared a few scenes, and plain "English" is the better choice 👍 14:28 He didn't say he destroyed the wormhole, he said he only closed it. But that's just a technicality, i know what you meant. It's nice to see someone react with emotional intelligence, emphasizing with the characters like you do. That's why i enjoy different kinds of reactions to Dark, this show has something for everyone. Be it the cultural background, the religious background, the scientific background, or the raw emotions and reveals!
@@user-cr2bt3zp1f So CC is good fun when you watched DARK so many times that you know the lines by heart...? Interesting idea. But in most cases CC creates the weirdest confusion.
You've probably already figured this out, but older Jonas told Hanna that younger Jonas is stuck in the future. Also in Season 1 episode 10 translator girl told younger Jonas "Welcome to the future". So clearly post-apoplectic scenes are in the future. One can assume it's 2052/2053( based on 33 year time travel ), but all we know is it's "the future". Which would make Elisabeth in her early 40s.
@@MaryCherryOfficial ahh alright. :D I just started yesterday watching reaction videos to fill the post-Dark-void, so I am only on season on your channel. :)
You just have to remember every time period is 33 years apart. Although the story started in 2019 in season 1, season 2 is 2020, so all your calculations of the various time periods is in increments of 33 years from the year 2020 for season 2.
Started watching season 3 yesterday. So excited for the last season of this amazing show. Binge-watched all your videos just now. Great stuff. Only one problem... I need the rest of season 2, like, immediately :'D
If you want to watch more German stuff after Dark, you should check out Babylon Berlin, Freud, Isi & Ossi (which has the actress who plays Martha!). They are all on Netflix.
Why am I just now realizing what happens in the scene with Noah and the pick axe!? I totally forgot about that while I was watching season 3, but it makes the scene so much more disturbing holy hell.
Yeah your doing good. It moves trew time lines listen for the tick sound lol You just started S2 I am about to start S3 woo I think I will need to take notes lol
This is not a spoiler, so don't worry. It should just be clear for you! Jonas is not in 2020, he's in 2053 (33 years from June 2020, which is where Hannah and adult Jonas are). And yes, that is adult Elisabeth.
Having watched season 3, I would avoid all comments until you do so yourself. Massive potential to ruin everything if you don’t. I hate to say that, but it’s sadly true.
SPOILERS FOR *SEASON 1* I think the photo is ripped because Ines (Jonas's grandma) doesn't live with them As to why the writers would do this? I guess because it's possible to piece clues together and find out the mikkel reveal earlier than it's meant to.... Because Ines and Mikkel seem to bond over in the hospital (which leads her to later adopt him and we all know the rest...)
:you probably shouldn't read the comments. people always post spoilers. they're horrible people, or get someone to delete spoilers from your channel before you read them. your channel isn't that small really now.
Sorry people are badgering you to hurry up and posting spoilers! I'm a huge fan of the show but I haven't even started watching S3 yet because I was finishing my S2 rewatch :\ I try to not post spoilers but sorry if I ever did. (I'm literally not scrolling down so that I don't see any potential spoiler comments lol).
I just finished the third season. I will miss Dark a lot.
i miss it FOR you, so sad :'( that'll be me soon
You have 33 likes
Vrishank Desai well looks like we gotta get it to 66 likes now lol

They really are amazing. I also really like the approach by Netflix to not stretch dark out, but instead, let them do something new.

13:20: Yes, and their mother is the nurse who talked to Jonas and asked Ines to swap shifts because she had to bring Benny to soccer.
I just finished the series finale that came out today and it was amazing. Gotta love this show!

Yes it does ! Good point, so clever.
I can't wait for you to see Stranger-Jonas in season 3. He is not only a "meal" but a "whole buffett". ;D
hahaha!! ive seen s3 btw

The future isn’t 2020. It’s 33 years into the future like how it’s 2019, 1986, 1953, etc. So more like 2052. Probably figured that out already though.
i did :)
2053, it pass 7 months, 53>54, 86>87, 2019>2020, 2052>2053

2020 was on all the graves. Probably that's why you remembered this particular date.
I just watched all of season 3 in one sitting. Looking forward to your reactions for the remainder of the series.
