hey, great tutorial! I have just one problem at the point when you link the flower to the null. My flower does follow the path perfectly but at two points it suddenly turns in a weird way and I dont now why. What can I do against that?
Hi thanks very much! It could be that the point to which it is linked rotates along the way. So you should select the point and check if the handles are rotating. That might be the reason.
Can you pretty please with cherries on top show us how to make a real tree grow with the animation? Ive been searching for months and haven't bee able to figure it out. New sub :)
After linking (using a whip and connecting it with leaf's path) I can't force leaf_detail to move alongside with the leaf. Any idea what I'm missing here?

The only thing I could think of... You accidentally might have tried to link two different properties together. You need to pick the „parent pick whip“ directly to the right of „path“. You might have picked the one next to the solid by accident. At least That happened to me;)

I think you need to link it to the end of your trim paths animator. Because the end point is moving up and down.

Unfortunately you need After Effects V17.1 for that option.
