    I bought the tlr-7 sub for my p320, put it on my hellcat just to see if it fits the rail and there it's going to stay. I will say the Tlr-6 has a lot of bang for the buck imo. It's not as bright but something that I truly appreciate is how secure the Tlr-6 mounts to the frame. It's never come loose on me not once. I like that. Plus I really like how it fits in your holster and just gives me peace of mind. I've never been a huge lazer fan but now that I have one and have been practicing I can see some night time advantages to this setup. Both are great options but I'm keeping my TLR-6.

    • @WerkzHolsters
      @WerkzHolsters  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I was once filming a job in a Kenyan national park, camping with rangers overnight. Middle of the night I needed to go to the toilet so climbed down from the 4x4 tent and walked through the bushes to find a suitable spot. I heard a loud rustle a few meters away from me and in that moment realised the flaw in having a low lumen output torch. I couldn't see past a tree a few meters ahead of me and just beyond that a shadow was moving closer. I didn't wait to find out what it was but that night I did learn a valuable lesson in lamp output. If there's any takeaway I can get from this episode it that although larger in size, when the time comes and you need to see your target, you will kick yourself for not having enough light.

  • @sqlb3rn
    @sqlb3rn 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    well they convinced me... just ordered a holster for my 43x mos with tlr7 sub. I looked at all the holsters I could find for it, and went with Werkz because of the riser/bump along the muzzle to help tuck the grip, not a bunch of excess kydex around the sides filling up my pants, and because they have the option for two tuckable clips which is my preferred style. The other holsters I looked at did not offer the riser/bump, or two clips, or they looked bulky.

    • @WerkzHolsters
      @WerkzHolsters  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for your comparison feedback. Some of the key design goals for the M6 are: configurable / modular IWB holster, includes features that people want (full sweat shield, minimal bulk), no "hate that" features such as a bump that could be too large, and finally excellent quality fit & finish. I look forward to hearing your feedback after you receive it and run it a bit!

    Man this just might be perfect! Is the TLR-7 sub wider than the frame/slide of the G43X? If so by how much? It looks like it might be a hair wider but it’s hard to tell exactly through the video. Im going to look for the specs in a minute but simply comparing specs isn’t always the best way to tell how something is going to fit. Anyways I’ve been looking for a quality light in the 500+ lumen range to put on my 43X that; is water resistant (witch I’d assume the TLR-7sub is IPX6 or 7?). That isn’t much wider than the frame if at all, doesn’t protrude past the muzzle more then 1/2” or so, and also doesn’t cost half as much as the pistol I’m putting it on. This new TLR-7sub seems like it could check all the boxes! Thanks for sharing this!

    • @WerkzHolsters

    WTF is with this new crop of TH-camr's referring themselves in the plural? One dude with a channel does not a "We" make.

      No idea what crop you're referring to, but we have quite a few of us working here in the Werkz shop.

    I’m interested in your holsters but noticed they are not available for left handed shooters. ?

      Pretty much everything we build has left handed SKUs. Our holster finder allows you to select between left and right hand. werkz.com/
