Looks like that Vedic language resembles currently prevalent Madarin and other Chinese languages in the sense that the tone of pronunciation determines the meaning of spoken words In Madarin there are 4 tones - rising pitch or frequency; Flat pitch; undulating pitch in the same word - pitch going down first and then rising up at the end of the word; finally, a sharp and falling tone or frequency. This is important as the meaning of a syllable can change completely if the wrong tone is used while speaking. For example, the word for the number four, si, can be understood by the listener as the one for ‘kill’ if the wrong tone is used. Now we can see why, the written Chinese language does not
use the alphabet system the rest of the world- we can also understand why the Vedic language depended upon oral transmission for a millennium and longer for faithful preservation of the original meaning and intent.

Dear Sridar, you said Vedha can be read only by Brahmins, Kshatriya and Vaishya. Why not Sudras? Ever you asked this question by yourself?

      Shudras can also read Vedas
Ex. Valmiki is a shudra , Vyasa is born to a shudra mother

Sir do tell us if adi shankaracharya was involved in the decline of buddhism and if that was the reason buddhists made hindu gods subservient to buddha in later buddhism unlike before the advent of adi shankaracharya.

-) sanskrit was never spoken in any lands, who's & what scriptures ??? It was a language of nomadic groups. Bottomline - Never trust(even the sweetest & innocuous looking) who preaches sanatana dharma, swindlers of native cultures, except Tamil, these nomads swindled rest of the languages. Dei, If any divinity expects rituals to followed, it is not divinity, irrespective of any religions.

So the Tamil culture expects rituals so let’s damn the Tamil culture too and the Dravidian way of life while we are at it, because god knows the investors, mama ponnu, athai ponnu marriages are sanctioned and animal and human sacrifices including the dumb jallikaaru that is cruel to animals. All religions, language chauvinism- Tamil chauvanism famously and even atheism thrives on rituals moron.
