      How does it affect the sound?

      I just received an email today & there back in stock. Order from the USA & they ship worldwide often ends up cheaper than buying them locally. Deeper tone but not anti social, I’d imagine the full system would have even more character. 👌

    You should take this for a spin and show us how it sounds during the ride. Looks sick! 🔥

    Congratulations on your new Busa Gen 3 😍!
    I have Gen 1 and Gen 2 and possible Gen 3, the ideal is to lift it yourself and it is quite easy if you put a hard wooden or metal block high enough to stand the motorcycle upright. or a little less (as you have already been told with a book). In this way it will be easy for you to control the movement of the motorcycle and put the workshop stand and raise it. If you want and to be safe, you can use a hydraulic car jack, so that the motorcycle does not fall to the other side. You can also lift the motorcycle with hydraulic jacks and then easily place the workshop stand. But just putting a piece of wood or metal (and always have it close) under the side leg makes it very easy (and he has enough strength in his arms to avoid problems). The front stand is fine if you want to move the bike with it, but you will need another one to change the front wheel and that is anchored in the fork (bottom and/or top) and leaves the wheel suspended. I think you already mentioned it, but there are rear stands that do not hook onto the rear axle but under the swingarm and have a free axle in case you need to remove it and remove the wheel. You just have to look for one that also allows you to move the motorcycle. A word of warning, always have a gear on or the brakes locked when you leave the motorcycle resting on its lateral support because it has a tendency (due to poor weight distribution design) that makes the support move and rise and crash. Regards ✌😉👍.

      Excellent tips and observations. Can you explain what moves and may make the bike crash? Lateral support?

    That’s such a gorgeous bike Ben. But that mobil stand device looks like a real bear to deal with. I do see it being a helpful tool when doing an oil change yourself.

    I suggest you put a book under the kick stand.
    It can help the bike keep in vertical status.
    After finishing the above jobs.
    You can stand on the left side of motorcycle then erect the rear wheel stand.
    Remember to put your steering on leftward.
    Otherwise, the motorcycle may fall down easily.

      Thanks for your feedback, I need to make another video as I now have confidence in using the stand & once I knock it into a gear it’s totally manageable. 👍

    Those are onyx mufflers? Any polish or issues with those with respect to mufflers?

  • @DJPTEXAS

    Maybe chock the front wheel first to stop movement before raising ?

  • @DJPTEXAS
    @DJPTEXAS 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    But what if you want to raise the rear to remove the wheel ?

    • @benwoodruff4466
      @benwoodruff4466  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the view, probably wouldn’t use this stand to remove the wheel. Certainly with the Busa anyway.

    I have the harbor freight rear spool stand and it is almost unusable as the handle is against the fender and makes it hard to maneuver. You have to stand the bike up holding the rear seat grip to use it. Kinda sketchy. But I like these stands although I have a dirt driveway.

    I put my busa kick stand on a dictionary so it is almost straight , then I align my rear stand. I like these though. I have a cheal one.

      Thanks for the watch, will knock it into 1st as another viewer suggested. It’s a great stand & so easy to use, once the bike is on the stand.

    That closed loop should be on the other side that’s why you are struggling

      Should have really made a follow up, was so much easier once I knew how & developed more confidence moving the ole girl around. 😅

    Mate stand behind the bike when your putting it on the stand.. your mounting it wrong and making it 100x harder than what it really is

    • @benwoodruff4466

      Thanks, I need to post a newer video as it’s so much easier than I made it look, certainly having it in gear is a must. 👌

    You will, drop your Busa with this setup.
    Mate , check out ABBA STANDS UK.
    I have the Superbike stand and the Skylift. I use them all the time with my Gen 2 Busa. Fantastic reliable lifting manoeuvring products. 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍🏻

    looks a bit awkward to me ,doesn,t take much to overbalance and drop the bike .would be easier with two people just to be safe . just my opinion.

    • @benwoodruff4466
      @benwoodruff4466  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I should make a follow up, thanks to a viewer suggesting I knock it into gear prior to mounting the rear stand, the bike now stays still & I’ve got a lot more confident in pulling the bike towards me to navigate the stand into place. Highly recommend.

    Why not put your bike in first gear? No way I'm doing this otherwise. It's rolling all over the place you almost lost it.

    That looks sketchy AF mate. Look up the ABBA super bike stand or the ABBA Skylift if you need to raise the bike up
