I picked up a nighthawk black 2007 type-s auto for $600 2 months ago. It's been a dream to own a 3rd gen for years now and I never thought I could afford a type-s and lucked out. This video has helped so much to get it back to OEM spec. After I get a new transmission it'll be ready to go. Thanks guys keep us updated on anything else with the car.

Let's see the 3.7 liter throttle body/intake manifold upgrade! I know HeelToe needs some footage on this. I just ordered Tein Flex Z coilovers from HeelToe. I have an 07 TL-S. Always modding. Previously owned the 05 rsx-s and 96 integra gsr sedan. Not sure if i'd stray away from acura
Car looks awesome. I would have left off the emblems except the center A, especially since the other ones have no holes. I shaved all the emblems on my Integra but had to do body work even for the ACURA badge because it had holes in the hatch lid.
I am guessing it came down to cost to owner. If one of the side skirts is damaged, you'll have to replace the entire thing. With two pieces you'll only have to replace one or half. Those things are not cheap.
Yeah 1 piece side skirts i agree look a TON BETTER. But my question is why didn't y'all use the mesh grill bezels, and instead install the straight lined plastic fog light bezel surrounds... They dont match or look anywhere nears as good as the honey comb style, nor match the honeycomb grill... Was there a setback reason for this Atrocity, LOL.
Hey man I’ve been following your videos for a while now and love them . I just bought a base 05 TL and it has almost 200,000 miles on it . It’s not very smooth, and the steering wheel keeps moving every time I accelerate hard or brake . Can you give me a few suggestions on what I can do to improve my ride quality and steering quality? And how I can make the car drive like new ?
Thanks for watching. It's difficult for us to pin point the culprit. However vibration from braking could be due to warped brake rotors or torn suspension bushings. As vibration during acceleration could be from worn/faulty inner or entire driveshafts. With 200k miles, these items are very common due to wear and tear. Hope this help.
at 9:42 whats the white stuff you guys used to secure those brackets the the white clips go in to? i just sourced a set of used a-spec side skirts and some of them are broken
