Hi friends, happy new year! ✨ Thank you for all the support on my channel over the past year! Being able to share my passion for sewing with all of you is a dream come true 🤩 I hope you enjoy today's 2023 sewing wrap-up video. Let me know what you made during 2023 in the comments below! 😊 Stay tuned for more great content coming in 2024!
You made so many lovely items this year. But, I also appreciate when you share the things you wish had been different or things you consider "failures", because that's just a realistic thing that happens with handmade items sometimes! Taking the learning experiences and moving forward is so important. I think your black thrift flip dress is my favorite of the garments you made in 2023, but your pink plaid blazer and that cozy coat are also fantastic. I look forward to seeing what you come up with in 2024 :)
Thank you so much for your comment! It's always important to talk about failures, because they happen! 😊
you rock! keep having fun, its a joy to be a part of the journey. to the moon!
Thank you so much, I'm so glad you are enjoying my videos! Happy new year to you! 😊
Hi. Nice overview. Regarding Marlo sweater, you can still add a binding over the back seam like rtw. You might find video on yt.
Ooh, that is a really good idea! Thanks for the tip 😊
Wow, what a collection. I have decided to learn sewing this year. I am inspired by this.
That is so exciting! Goodluck on your sewing journey this year, have fun! 😊
The pink dress in a festive black fabric would be great for a party
Oh so true! I actually have some pi k silky satin fabric that I best would look amazing! Thanks for watching!
The Ilford sleeves at the lower arm and cuffs are tight. FPC recently had a blog post on pattern adaptation for this given the background of other makers experiencing the same thing.
Oh thank you so much for this info, it is definitely helpful! I need to be better about reviewing pattern reviews before I cut out my size in case any changes are needed! Thanks for watching!
Gorgeous pieces. My favourite is the vintage dress. Perfect fabric choices and the silhouette is perfect on you.
Thank you for such a nice comment! Happy new year! 😊
Loved every minute of your blog - so informative and helpful ❤
Thank you much for such a nice comment! So glad it was helpful! 😊
Neat video. I've gotta say, the outerwear set and the Oslo coat are especially impressive. Well done!
Thank you so much!
I love all these pieces and REALLY love the honesty and helpful info. Great video. Definitely a collection to be proud of.
Thank you so much! I try to keep it real over here for sure! Glad this was helpful info 😊
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼These are great makes! I love how you blended quality, practicality, and fashion so seemlessly.
Thank you so much, that is such a nice compliment! Thanks for watching.😊
That cutout dress is really nice and suits you well. Love the vintage inspired dress too - great fabric choice.
I love that Jalie jacket. I like to sew with lightning stitch then run it through serger or use an overlock stitch on my normal machine.
That Oslo jacket is great and quite a challenge you were able to successfully execute. Woohoo!
Thank you for your kind words about my projects! I agree about using the lightening stitch and overlock on a sewing machine, they are great alternatives if you don't have a serger (which I don't!). Thanks again for supporting my channel😊
Great work! Side seam pockets are seldom an asset visually imo, good idea to switch them out.
I totally agree about side seam pockets, I will definitely be wary of them from now on. Thanks for watching!
Very nice!😊
Thanks for watching and commenting! Happy new year!
Very impressed.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! 😊
Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
Happy new year! Thank you for your contribution, you are so talented 💕 Love your makes 2023. Ps. You can just add a colourful bias binding to fix the inside edges of your jacket 😉 God bless, Dora
Thank you so much for such a nice comment! That is a great tip, I am going to look into using some binding for it 😊
