As someone who has a left lean, I don't really endorse her either to be fair.
I think between her and Trump, she's the better choice.... but that's not exactly much of a bar to clear.
Are we sure there's not a 3rd candidate somewhere? Homer Simpson maybe?
You are either trolling, or Kamala.
Wut wut wut!?!
CHIPS money.. I have no problem with this. After all Who wants Intel? No one.. Give the cash to AMD. (Micron and QUALCOMM also had investments in this)
The Trump Plan sounds better to tariff the imports to the point they would use the money themselves to build plants here to avoid tariffs. It's working already. China is building plants in Mexico to avoid US tariffs due to the free trade agreement.
If you like computers, you probably shouldn't hate America. And if you don't hate America, you must be voting for Trump
Definitely not a Kamala supporter, but I thought the money for the internet project was still just sitting there, not spent on anything yet?
So do you endorse Donald Trump then?
They are trying to remain neutral as journalists. A misinformation campaign implied they supported one candidate over another. Whoever started that assumed they wouldn't respond.
It is possible to find both sides horrible candidates. Between Harris's aggressive censorship policy and Trump's promise to abolish the voting system there' no winning this season.
@@jorionedwardsabolish the voting system?
@@retrocomputing Frick, my comment got deleted again. Trump's on record of saying that the next election will be the last and that the next generation won't need to worry about voting anymore. I would've cared for these claims if it weren't for the courts allowing the president to do whatever including murdering dissenters. Constitution be damned.
He honestly strikes me as the Rob Paul type only thing is, in real life if you apply for a job as many times as Ron Paul has and never get hiring, eventually they stop ignoring the applications you send in
No matter how bad you think Harris might be, she couldn't begin to fail as badly as the orange dictator. You have the right to endorse or not, but please don't encourage the bad alternative.
Trump 2024
Thanks for caring enough to be critical of a potential Harris administration. We know this indicates that you understand that Harris will become the next president and are doing your best to ensure it is a successful administration. Though I think you are incorrect on just about everything else, so do try and be better at spinning data that disagrees with your preconceived ideas.
“it would be hard to imagine a candidate worse than kamala harris”. Disagree. I can imagine one - Donald Trump. I like Free Software as much as the next guy, but being a single issue voter when democracy is on the line is stupid. And the only reason Donald Trump is not mentioned in that topic is that he does not have a policy on this (or anything), but would surely cave to his billionaire buddies anyways. Unsubscribing. Bye Mr. Lunduke.
🤣🤣🤣 byeeeeeee
Cope harder. Y ou r wife and her boyfriend are voting for tr ump.
Is that you Kamala?
I agree with your statement (not a US Citizen btw.), but to stay sharp and well informed I choose to look at and *listen* to subjects from different angles ( including political ones ) before I come a conclusion on any subject. I value the Lunduke Journal because it provides me with good analysis on subjects I care about. Now Lunduke specifically states *on the subjects that I cover* when going into this and this is an important distinction. I'm neither 100% left or right on the political spectrum, but I would not unsubscribe from a channel specifically because it does not gel with my political stance. But it's your choice. Defending Democracy is pretty high on my priority list. I sincerely hope that the USA does not turn into a dictatorship.
have a nice day
so do u endorse trump? or whta?
Not endorsing kakals is an indorsement for the actual president
Who do you like better, Jill Stein or Chas Oliver because those two are our Only Hope. Both Harris and Trump are no good.
You didn't know that this is basically the Joe Rogan channel for wannabe computer nerds? This is basically a MAGA convention posing as a Libertarian neocon channel
@@neilpatrickhairlessSure if you just ignore everything Lunduke says and make up stuff, then you might be right.
@@neilpatrickhairless So which parts of the video did you disagree with?
@@neilpatrickhairlessoh and I'm sure you're not a wannabe at all. You are the "mature/educated white dudes for Kamala" bro 🤡
@@neilpatrickhairless I dunno.. I'm a physics nerd not a computer nerd.
Normally I'm right there with you Bryan, but I'm wondering something. If you're against banning Russians from being Linux kernel maintainers now, would you have been against banning Germans from being Linux kernel maintainers during WW2?
Just because Germany's governing party was dog water for a time doesn't mean their citizens should get the axe.
@@jorionedwards Even if they were also party members and/or worked for the military? Serge Semin, one of the maintainers removed, was at least working for Baikal Electronics, a Russian company specifically named on the OFAC sanctions list.
Well, as far as I know, there is no Russian propaganda showing Ukrainians as sub human or any systematic violence against Ukrainians living in Russia before the war
But the 1933 German government had a good amount of grassroots support (at least before WW2 started)
@@srsa2436 Before the war is irrelevant. Propaganda is irrelevant. What matters are actions.
American companies were selling Germans steel for their tanks leading right up to wwii…
Not sure how kernel maintainers come even close to that by comparison
Hmm... OK.
Little Orphan Annie is so reformed that he has to let everybody else come out with the Meta fuckery little by little, and then he apologizes after every significant grouping of increments.
Now I get what he douses himself in SPF... cuz he's afraid of ANY sunlight.
🫵😉. Ain't that right, Annie?
For some reason I can't find the "translate to English" tag for this post.
@@erintyres3609 what an interesting way to phrase a post. You are correct I will do better next time. Thanks for the correction
