I have read the new law and it seems that it also does not recognize the concept of 50-50 split in divorce (community property) in which assets are distributed after the divorce. If all secular nations in the world have this law (with slight differences), why does the new civil law of the emirates not recognize it? I know Islam doesn't recognize it but technically the law is secular, soo
