Great review. Thanks for sharing that. I bought all my Vikings from Gripping Beast a couple of years ago and I was perfectly happy with them at the time. But seeing these, I kind of wish I’d waited. They’re really nice. The facial detail in particular is really impressive.
Helllo, thanks for the vid. I Cant seem to see a pack of 60 anywhere online whether it be on their website or on ebay..... On a separate note, VV Miniature also make amazing HQ miniatures.
Nice figures. I've just started reading _The_ _Saxon_ _Stories_ series by Bernard Cornwell. It's great so far, I can already recommend it to anyone interested in Vikings.
If you have any Perry miniatures range of minis to hand, think you'd be to scale compare them? I'd be interested in getting these to make my Stark footmen and use Perry's heads with the mailed bodies.
They're actually the bottom half of a double handed axe, wasn't obvious at first but a couple of the double handed axes are split into separate arms, one with the blade and top part of the handle and the other with the bottom half of the handle
I don't know really as I only have Victrix Vikings, they are the first Vikings I've owned. I have lots of other Victrix stuff, Romans & other ancients plus Napoleonics and they are first class.
Victrix match with Crusader Miniatures quite well and the plastic Warlord Games. They're all around 32mm high. Compare that to Relic who appear to be around 30mm high (28 to the eye). Scale is a bit of a mess across and even within companies. Relic and Warlord Games horses are the same size but get dwarfed by the huge Victrix and Crusader ones.
Wow.. I’ve never seen these models before, they look brilliant I’ll definitely have to pick some up! Thanks for the review!
I saw these at my local game store!
I'd would like to kitbash these Viking minis into feudal world Chaos Cultists

thanks for all the reviews keep them coming
cheers John
I bought mine direct from Victrix, I assumed they would be cheaper! They do make fantastic plastics. Gripping Beast are good, these are just superb.

@@necroblaster5132 Yeah It looks great, I'm planning on watching it as soon as I've finished the novels.
nice video , was looking into buying these you've made my mind up....
Presentation will be even better if whole sprue can be showed. I like your video.

Looks fantastic, definitely on my ‘to buy’ list.
yet another for the 'to do' lost which gets bigger by the week
Cool set, good explanation, thumbs up! Would be good for my Saga Vikings!
thank you
Really nice review the only thing i find wrong with vuctrix is the price a little expensive
we could all do with them being cheaper but you can save a few quid of the RRP if you shop around
@@PaintGlue very true dude
@Tiny mod Exactly, metal is twice the price easily. Don't even look at the price of Game Workshop stuff.
no flags or shield decals?... Man even tho the figures look good, for this price I would appreciate atleast some banners...
What are the "sticks" supposed to be?

@@PaintGlue Ok, that makes more sense!
Must say, I much prefer the boxes, better for the figures, and the environment. The figures are amazing.
The plastic bag, which could be used to hold bits, has far less plastic in it than the sprue frames.
how do these compare to other 28mm brands as far as size and such.
