I mail my expired coupons to my daughter. They are currently stationed in Germany and she has been able to use coupons up to 6 months after they expire. She has also been able to use the printed coupons, but that might just be their particular commissary. I live sending them to her, she gets together with some of the other wives and they sort them then what ever they don’t pick out for their personal stash they put in the grab box for everyone else to take. Now I never feel like any of my coupons went to waste if I didn’t use them. 😊

It makes it so much easier getting your coupons together by transaction before hitting the store. I have a folded note card with a 1,2,3,4 on them and voila. Thanjs for sharing!
I can't tell you how many times I had to go rummaging through my recycle bin to find coupons that I actually did need. I finally learned after years of doing that to just cut the damn coupons out just in case! 😂

When I go shopping, I use an envelope to write my shopping list of on the front & I make notes next to the items of corresponding coupons I am using on them & which rebate offers apply as well. I use a similar coupon binder that is red. I keep my printable coupons separate. It keeps the smaller coupons from getting lost or stuck to them. I use to have a black one but one too many times I’ve left it in my shopping cart and the red color sticks out. Luckily I never lost it. I recommend putting your first name and phone number in the binder in the event you leave it or it gets lost. The store or a Good Samaritan can contact you. If you think about it it’s worth a lot in your time and especially extra bucks.

This is quite helpful. I've been using a plastic coupon holder that I got from Dollar Tree. It's been in use for more than a year, which is great considering, but it only has six pockets. I've been paper clipping sections of coupons together, and it's not the most efficient method. For a little over $5, it might be time to upgrade my system. I saw a video with Couponing with Star, and she also uses the cash system. I've been going over on budget, so I may go the cash route. I'd been hesitant because A) Dave Ramsey has solid financial advice but he's personally a tool, and B) the pandemic coin shortage. Have you had any trouble using cash since the pandemic? A lingering question I have is on CRTs/Extra Bucks. I always add them to my card digitally and then throw away the paper. But, it looks like you and some others save the printed CRTs. What's the benefit to that?
Yes you can. I keep a list when I go to the shelters to donate they give you a form and you keep it. Give it to your tax guy or keep a record yourself to put the amount down on your twces

I use www.groverysavingstips.com. There is a tab on the home page labeled military family coupon program. They have addresses of military bases that you can ship your coupons to directly. It is nice because they keep the base addresses current so if they close a base they update the list. Thank you Bree!

If your store excepts expired ecb/ crt you can only use them if they are printed, if you just send them to card and they expire you will lose them.
