They were so thankful. The Japanese wife even turned around and greeted me when they departed. Oh, and there was also a Indian teenager there, whom I wanted to share another coupon. He was so polite and despite I explained to him that I had many of them & hoped that he shared one, he insisted that I leave the coupon for my own. Feel great for doing something good today. Santa gave the right present to the right people 🎁🎀 This alien is satisfied.
Manufacturers, stores have changed their coupons policies and limits to less. The stores got pissed since the show Extreme Couponing about losing money when they get face value manufacture money plus extra. I didn’t know how to use coupons until I watched this show.
Literally. Stores got so butthurt for nothing. The coupon is essentially a check for the manufacture to foot the rest of the money the customer didn't have to pay. additionally stores get an, upwards of, 90% off retail to sell the items. They are legit just middlemen.
Agreed. I don't coupon anymore, but when I see clips of this show, I realize how much easier it was to do back then apparently....wouldn't be surprised if this show attributed to manufactures' making it that way.
@@mozelac groceries are only about 40% profit That’s why grocery stores expanded into super grocery stores where they sell a lot of other things besides food. Those things have a huge markup. Books have only 40% also The 2 things we really need in life, food & drink and BOOKS ‼️
I am so happy that she is enjoying this. You can tell she loves this. As someone who has ADHD and OCD, I totally understand why she loves something so much
It also said that she has a household of 10, so she probably goes through things rather quickly. Even in my small household, we go through 4-5 boxes of cereal a week. Plus a lot of couponers trade from their stockpile for inserts. It’s a great way to barter.
Couponing is really cool, and i like it ; it helps people, but the amount of coupons the people at this show can use is so unrealistic, and it's not allowed at most of the shops
It annoys me how everyone on this show claims to have OCD... Maybe some do, but being organizational and precise does not mean OCD. Having OCD means you deal with horrible intrusive thoughts that usually only stop with a certain action or with self-harm. These intrusive thoughts interrupt day to day function. Actions could be rubbing your ear, taking a certain road, etc. Maybe the ppl on the show have an anxiety disorder, but maybe not OCD. Misdiagnosing oneself with OCD means that sharing or communicating a real diagnosis is not treated with respect, and makes it difficult for people to seek treatment bc they don't think they have OCD. Respect the disorder and the struggles ppl go through. OCD is not a personality trait or quirk. It's a debilitating disorder Edit: don't go saying I'm not a doctor and have no right to say anything, to then diagnose her yourself. If you don't agree that's fine, but insulting me or accusing me of something you're literally doesn't accomplish anything. OCD is different for everyone. Literally just look up OCD on YT or read an article to learn more.
I was looking for a comment like this one! Like it’s not cute or fun to have a mental illness and she (and many others) make these issues seem like not as big of a deal
Agreed. They obviously have a debilitating disorder. Watching all these episodes makes me cringe. You know they have OCD, but they use it in a playful tone. Hoarding and OCD go hand in hand. Whether it's organized or disorganized.
OCD isn’t always severe. I have OCD and it’s intrusive but in the sense that I’m mission minded. Mine is cleaning/work/errands obsessed. Hers could very well be this. Getting real sick of TH-cam “doctors”.
I feel like.. these extreme couponers are outsmarting the wealthiest businessmen and their extravagant families, bcos they get to have many things and live the rest of their lives without spending too much, help other people and still live in comfort..
With her being at Family Dollar, I'm surprised she didn't use their app. They usually have pretty good coupons on there and they sometimes have a 5 off $25 every now and then. She could have used the app to save even more money like with what was left over for the toilet paper
It's frustrating when you get to the store and the shelves are stripped because of extreme couponers. So glad stores limit this crap now. At least she's doing it for charity this time.
I’d really love to know where these people shop. EVERY single store in my area limits the number of coupons you can use on a given item. You aren’t allowed to buy 75 toothbrushes. They limit the customer to three coupons for a product per day. You can get three toothbrushes, three boxes of coffee, etc...
These trips are planned in advance, and the store bends their policies for the show to film. They filmed at a store my friend was a member of management at. The average person can never go in and get the savings that they show on the program
especially in Central Florida idk what central florida she’s in but it can’t be the same one i’m actively laying my head in because the highest limit i’ve seen is 6 like coupons and that’s if the coupon doesn’t already specify the limit
How do they use all those coupons at once? Isnt there a limit on the number of "same item" coupons you can redeem? Like only 4 coupons for toothbrushes at once? Or is that wrong?
She got that mindset yall...hop on that TLC crazy coupon ish just don't get as addicted as alot of people do, and the lady in this video is such a lovely person by the way, u can tell ❤🥰🤗
Nope. I used to manage a store that was a competitor to where she went and the vast majority of couponers were the epitome of a Karen... The coupon policy limited the number of identical coupons to 6 per person per day. These are very small stores with 2 registers, couponers had been allowed by previous managers to split their purchases into separate transactions to use more than 6 identical coupons and it would tie up one register for at least an hour. When I took over the store and implemented the policy correctly, the couponers flipped...
I am seriously impressed with her talent and ability. There are too many people in this country who have food issues. They could use a great deal of these items. She needs to donate to food banks and shelters! That would be even more impressive!
I'm confused do the grocery not sell boxed stuffs? Like from where I used to to part time work if a customer wants to buy an entire box of laundry soap (each box contains 25) we just tale it from the storage as per customer request. That applies to toothbrushes or anything in store that is not fresh produce. We can just grab boxes of whatever customers wanna buy and we don't have to scan it individually.
I was a cashier for over a year. We smiled and tried to be nice to the crazy coupon people, but we hated them. We called a manager the second we saw one lady walk in every time.
Congratulations, as anyone can see, it’s a mega full time job. Last question: what about shelf lives? Can she use everything by time? I understand she is giving a lot away, great, but what about the rest?
She either sells it or if the deadline is in a few days and she can’t drink 20 gallons of milk in a week she donates the rest to a shelter but they usually pick items that can’t go bad like candy or junk food
You can still eat food that has "expired" past its shelf life. June from Delish does it all the time and she's okay. She has cans of food from 2019 that she uses for her recipes lol
Most everything here is extremely shelf stable, like pasta and it can last years. If she's donating most of the supplies, she can still keep a year's supply for her family

Oh, and there was also a Indian teenager there, whom I wanted to share another coupon. He was so polite and despite I explained to him that I had many of them & hoped that he shared one, he insisted that I leave the coupon for my own.
Feel great for doing something good today. Santa gave the right present to the right people 🎁🎀
This alien is satisfied.
Dam I would hate to be behind her in the queue 🤦🏻♀️
Gotta pick a different line, doing grocery delivery service it’s not THIS bad, and I feel this way sometimes
Lol
They call ahead. A lot of extreme Couponers make sure the stores aren't packed on the days they want to go.
@@mozelac groceries are only about 40% profit
That’s why grocery stores expanded into super grocery stores where they sell a lot of other things besides food. Those things have a huge markup.
Books have only 40% also
The 2 things we really need in life, food & drink and BOOKS ‼️
I work at a grocery store and I AINT even mad, man it’s hella smart
Donating for charity is so kind❤
This is so amazing that she gives it to people in need!
I am so happy that she is enjoying this. You can tell she loves this. As someone who has ADHD and OCD, I totally understand why she loves something so much
I hope the food doesn't get expired... Buying that much I don't think she is able to consume it
She’s donating it and selling it, I think online? 🤔
This shopping trip is for a charity that helps teens. I think the milk will be consumed before it expires.
It also said that she has a household of 10, so she probably goes through things rather quickly. Even in my small household, we go through 4-5 boxes of cereal a week. Plus a lot of couponers trade from their stockpile for inserts. It’s a great way to barter.
She probably sells her stockpile too to help support her family as well.
I remember the time Leo drawed N on weekly idol 😂
Yup she is definitely ready for the cronovirus now
Now she'll never have to go out again
So we’re over a year into this pandemic and you can’t spell it right lmao
She will have the shopping withdrawals worse than anyone else
@@ajc5869 so
I appreciate how organized she is.. Better than extreme cheapskates drinking out the toilet and scamming small businesses.
Its so cool that people like this exist. Donating all the food they buy is awesome! Keep up the great work!
She is good in maths man we need to appriciate it.
Couponing is really cool, and i like it ; it helps people, but the amount of coupons the people at this show can use is so unrealistic, and it's not allowed at most of the shops
Is possible
Its absolutely not allowed. Not in any store I have ever been in.
Not in the US lol
It was for the show.
And maybe becuz she’s doing charity work.
It's a debilitating disorder
Edit: don't go saying I'm not a doctor and have no right to say anything, to then diagnose her yourself.
Yes like ocd is awful
@@Charmingpreppylife yeah I understand that. But being a extreme couponing doesn't mean OCD lmao that's my point. OCD isn't a quirk!
honestly usually when i watch these clips i’m baffled but i’m actually so happy that she’s using all of it for charity, i’m a missy stan
literally every coupon Ive ever had says 'cannot be combined with other offers' am I missing something.?
There is no way my Family Dollar would let me use 700+ of the same coupon. That’s against their policy.
Our local DG would restrict them too. Like, severely.
This is an old show when there was no coupon policies
I feel like.. these extreme couponers are outsmarting the wealthiest businessmen and their extravagant families, bcos they get to have many things and live the rest of their lives without spending too much, help other people and still live in comfort..
We should all do the same
That’s lady at the checkout deserves to win the lottery 😂😅😅
i loved this lady last time i’m so glad they did a follow up ep
I love that she does couponing to help other especially young mothers💕 may get bless her
Where I live in NY, the stores won’t let you use coupons on items that are already on sale
With her being at Family Dollar, I'm surprised she didn't use their app. They usually have pretty good coupons on there and they sometimes have a 5 off $25 every now and then. She could have used the app to save even more money like with what was left over for the toilet paper
Prolly not 2018.
I use coupons, sales, buy clearance and am a Prepper but could never do extreme coupon too much stress for me
Missy and that guy Chris are amazing. I’ve no idea how people actually do this. But I think it’s great 🎉
Wouldn't happen in the uk.... all of our coupons say "only 1 voucher can be used per shop"
Means everyone gets a chance
Damn she'd make a great logistics manager
When they said supermarket and it turns out to be the dollar store , that one threw me for a loop .
It's frustrating when you get to the store and the shelves are stripped because of extreme couponers. So glad stores limit this crap now. At least she's doing it for charity this time.
its not right to take so many items. no wonder shelves are empty-
Now there’s a good human being, willing to give her time to collect all the coupons , and then give all to charity, well done lady, 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🇵🇹❤️
In Canada it is one coupon per item and one item per Trip...we could never do this. One coupon per costumer..
@@Silvafootfamily525 that’s really crappy.
@@wholoveskitty extremely crappy.
especially in Central Florida idk what central florida she’s in but it can’t be the same one i’m actively laying my head in because the highest limit i’ve seen is 6 like coupons and that’s if the coupon doesn’t already specify the limit
This is all from like 10+ years ago and now all stores are alot stricter
How do they use all those coupons at once? Isnt there a limit on the number of "same item" coupons you can redeem? Like only 4 coupons for toothbrushes at once? Or is that wrong?
I think so
It all depends on where you shop. In Canada, we can't do this...at all...
I love how they blur out the sign for the store she went to but it's still recognizable 😂😂
Do these ppl not know what an
EXPIRATION DATE is 🤣
She got that mindset yall...hop on that TLC crazy coupon ish just don't get as addicted as alot of people do, and the lady in this video is such a lovely person by the way, u can tell ❤🥰🤗
I was not expecting a Welsh Accent VO for an American TV Show.
That is odd
What's weirder is it Verruca Salt from the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory film putting on an accent
This is TLC UK.
9:09 that's the receipt for one pack of gum at CVS
Wow. She is so energetic. If only I had that kind of passion for something.
I've seen a handful of these videos and this is the first one I've seen where she actually DONATES it.
I am seriously impressed with her talent and ability.
There are too many people in this country who have food issues. They could use a great deal of these items. She needs to donate to food banks and shelters! That would be even more impressive!
She already does
Cashier smile is like end my suffering 0v0
Okay but does anyone else think she looks a little like Pam from the office
that is very sweet of her, she donated the things that she buys witth coupon to charity, WE NEED TO BE LIKE HER!!!
I can't help but have mad respect for her organizational skills.
Love her story and how ot has inspired who and where she is today! Get it coupon lady!!💪💪
This is a disorder
her happiness is so contagious
Honestly it's not the fact of having a lot but realizing that everything has a expiration date and food practically doesn't last many months.
When the lady at the till saw all the tooth brushes she was like..WHYYY MEEE 😂😂😂
The thing about extreme couponing is that the more food they buy the more stress that’s put on the food and agriculture industry
Her family must’ve been praising her during quarantine 😂
These ladies deserve praise and a pat on the back such a good cause 😍
Was she writing with a candy cane
Yes, they used to make pens like that all the time around Christmas. Some of them even smelt like peppermint lol.
Yasss mam!! I have started to coupon just two months ago. It is a life saver and a blessing to be able to go in the store and come out with maximum amount of product!! 💪🏽💯🙌💁🏾
What stores do you go to?
The dollar general mainly, but on occasion I do find deals I can match coupon with at CVS AND Walgreens. I also coupon a little at Walmart and Family dollar also accepts most coupons but their pricing is not as fair as the DG. Tbh once you start you will have one particular store that you choose over others and for me the DG is that store. Hope this helps..
I figured that Missy had to been a teen mom because she's literally a 37 year old talking about having a son in the military and a daughter-in-law and a grandchild. Also the toothbrush cart is iconic for this show.
Question do they pay attention to expiration dates? I just wonder how much food they got stocked that’s old lol
a worthy opponent against big corporations, LONG LIVE THE COUPON QUEEN.
