Honest to Amun, I was binge watching Jeb Brooks vids today and I thought "hmm, haven't heard from Ricky in a while? 🤔" And then 2 hrs later this vid pops up in my TH-cam feed! Great Work Ricky, love this Hyatt vlog!
I appreciate your approach on honesty as you learn Hyatt. I am a Hilton loyalist ATM, but also a Chase UR guy. My focus has been Chase for airline miles (transfer partners) and my Hilton Amex Surpass for Gold status and a boat load of points for signup (200,000). I'm now interested in exploring either Hyatt or Marriott for more options with Chase UR.
Interesting - ever thought about getting/upgrading to Aspire for Diamond status? I find Hilton Diamond to be the least valuable out of the three top-tier statuses so I'm looking forward to getting some better treatment with Hyatt
I have been to 烏鎮. Your video brings back memories. Great place. Mostly local tourists. I remember the hotel right inside the resort where you can look out the window into the river. I don't know if it's part of any chain but definitely in my radar for a future stay. One of the places worth returning to, along with 杭州. Looking forward to more travel videos (specially China).
Just started with the world 🌎 of Hyatt card. Received a $300 statement credit. Staying at the new Thompson Hotel in Savannah later this year. Would love to see a comparison of the Hyatt brands.
I remember going to Wuzhen when I was a kid and we stayed at a small motel that was really dirty. Next time I go back to China, I'm definitely staying at the Alila! Thanks for the video and stay safe in China :)
the hotel looks beautiful. would like a longer form review after you've finished your stay, but definitely looks like something i'd consider adding to my hit-list whenever i can make it to China.

For me any my travel, I've been kept within the Fairmont portfolio. Because every hotel is an experience, a luxury experience to be sure, but man I love them.
Hyatt Globalist is Dope! Got it in February with all the promotion. Heading to Istanbul in a couple months. Looking forward to experiencing the foreign hospitality.
It all depends. If you have the Hyatt credit card, as long as you're in good, and you have it, it's forever. If not, you need to re quality each year. If you're a globalist in Dec 2023, globalist until dec. ' 24. Hyatt own one of the 3 credit unions.

Hyatt's smaller footprint is a weakness, but they've been on a hot streaks with partnerships and acquisitions (including Alila Hotels not too long ago), so they're working on it.
I stayed in Park Hyatt Tokyo twice and Hyatt Regency Tokyo once , i have to say Park Hyatt Tokyo is Best of the Best ! and i do love the Movie : Lost in Translation ... Leon Hu in Toronto Ontario

Sofitel is under Accor - who uses a dynamic award chart that doesn't have too much value. But there are a few gems of wisdom there, so I'll plan to make that video... probably when I stay at an Accor property at some point.
