Amazing your knowledge and the capacity to observe and absorb a scene. You are a genius. Your lessons are incredible. Thank you , thank you for sharing.
So goad I watched you paint this one...finally one that knows how to use acrylics like the artistic way..which reflects to how oils will do the same wuth these basics you've shown..thank you so much.
Absolutely love your videos. They have really helped me re-learn all the things I forgot in my years away from painting, as well as learn so many new things I never knew how to do. So inspiring!! I always watch one of your videos right before I paint. (Like now) Thank you!!
I love your way of looking and explaining materiels, and the important observations of your process - and great “natural- imaginary” landscapes, catching lights, shadows, movements and I feel like walking in a very beautifull and mysterious dreaming Landscape - pure joy and happy painting 🧡🌸 and I love the tonalities of your colour harmonies - they are like songs of water and sky.
I love the way you show us observation skills. Is there any advice you can give please re safety when using household paints? Spend a fortune on Golden, liquitex etc. thank you
This is fantastic! Thankyou so much for making this video. I've been doing a lot of reflection pieces recently and some of the "rules" still catch me out, so this is gold! 🙏🙏🙏 I will be re-vamping my channel and posting some timelapses on there soon. Thanks again!
I do the exact same thing as you where I keep the color on my brush and just throw it into the next pot, but more out of laziness than anything else, and I find it ends up muddying all my prepped colors in the end! do you ever find this or do you always work just from light to dark? amazing video thank you so much :)
I watched right to the end to see the final painting in all it's beauty and it was half covered by 3 'advertising' overlays. Is this deliberate so you never get a full look at the finished product or is this an extremely annoying TH-cam function. Perhaps if the videos are made another minute longer (with no relevant content) viewers would then be able to actually view the video right through to the end before it's obstructed. Aside from that your paintings are amazing and you make it look so effortless!

I am looking forward to watching your tutorials. I am new to painting and struggling, I feel I will learn lots from you.

Love your voice and taking us to look at rocks teaching us, you're amazing 👏❤
Artists get so excited to see the shadows and crevices on 🪨rocks in their paintings. Thank you 💜Joe

Love it JC, I had a thought to paint a painting like this but with a stone that's been thrown and skipping across the water in motion! Cheers

Hey, Joe! If you fellas ever come back to Alaska we can take you fishing in some locations that would definitely inspire your paint brush!
