There are a couple of ways that you can secure the EZ Klean bait stations. Most of the time on hard surfaces you can either use something like liquid nails and secure the box to a cinder block or directly to the cement/asphalt surface. The other option would be to use the two holes at the bottom of the station to insert small stakes that you can get from any hardware store. You do want to make sure that the stakes are at least 10-12 inches in length depending on the soil density. Hope this helps!
Confused. In the beginning, you say the EZ Klean can hold more bait. In the video, it shows 8 baits on vertical bars on the Protecta SIdekick, and 6 baits on the Ez Klean horizontal bars or 3 on the removable tabs. That makes the Ez Klean holding less bait, not more. What am I missing?
When using the EZ Klean Bait Stations, they allow for more bait loading by using the 2 metal rods in conjunction with the plastic stakes. To load more bait, place two of the plastic stakes into the far left and right corners, add the bait. Then bait the metal rods and place one in the center slot and one in the first slot. By setting up this way you can get 3 blocks on each rod and 2 on each stake (10 blocks total vs. 8 in the Protecta Bait station). If you choose to use soft bait, you can get a whole lot more than that! Hope this helps!!
I am a senior who lives in a mobile home with Pex piping. Do I have to put these all under the home or can it be effective just around the outside walls? Also, it appears that they can be put outside where it rains. Doesn't the rain get into the holes and mess up the bait or it is ok to put it outside with no cover over the bait station?
Yes, you can place these around the perimeter of your home, they do not have to be under the home and yes, they can be outside with no cover. A heavy rain may get to the bait but most of the time the bait is protected. Hope this helps!
If you're missing your or lost your key, you can pry the EZ Klean station open with two flat head screw drivers with a little work. We do sell the replacement keys at Howtopest.com
So I contacted a mouse pest control company just for kicks. They wanted to charge me 600 per year to place 4 large rat bait stations around my home. I ended up buying 2 from the store and modified the door by attached a smaller plastic piece with a mouse size door. They look great. Loaded with bait and placed already.
The EZ Klean Bait Stations and The Protecta Bait Stations are designed to be tamper and pet resistant. Most animals can not access the bait. If a large dog that is extremely persistent may eventually be able to get into the bait station but it is very rare.
Yes they can, as can cats, hawks, owls, falcons, eagles, egrets, foxes, raccoons, bobcats, coyotes... any predator that consumes rodents really. The baits used today are what's known as Second Generation Anticoagulant Rodenticides ( SGARs ), and older First Generation Anticoagulant Rodenticides ( FGARs ). They won't solve your rodent problem, but will kill the predators that consume the rodents and keep your property rodent free. The rodents don't die in the box, instead dying outside at a later date. There's a reason why there are big pushes for rodenticide bans. Contraceptive baits should be the only allowed products for rodent control

Hi I’ve been in pest control for about half a year now and loving it. Any tips on how to anchor the EZ Klean with the included stake?

Thanks so much for watching @micahpop6566! We truly appreciate it!!
What if I don’t have the key that came with the rat trap? There must be something I can use in place of that.

Will chipmunks be attracted to the bait?
Generally speaking, chipmunks are not attracted to the rodenticides however there is always a possibility that they can enter into the bait station.
