Rule number 1 : Never EVER PAY ANYONE to hire you or get you work. If you have to pay any fees up front, don’t do it. It makes no sense when you have to “PAY” to work. Just beware!!
This was a very well researched video with information that is not commonly seen on other "remote work" videos. Well done. I have been curious though for the past year, what sort of work Michelle does? She always seems to be very busy working. Hope that you continue to be safe, and I look forward to your next video next Saturday.
We are so glad to hear this, thank you! This is Michelle, I work in Payroll and work a 40 hours a week job Mon through Fri. Brian actually works more hours than I do working the same hours I do plus some nights, late nights and weekends. There is an amazing amount of work involved in the TH-cam channel and everything that goes with it. It probably seems that I am always working to those watching a few videos when Brian does a few video shots during my work hours. I do try to help some with social media comments when I can, but he really puts his heart into the channel. We sure appreciate all your kind words and we hope you continue to stay safe as well. 🧡🤓Michelle
Very good video I'm sure there are many people who are out there looking for jobs on line these days. When I went to school I wanted to have a job where I could work on my computer anywhere in the world. Becoming a computer programmer / webmaster gave me the chance to do that. having my pay deposited into my account also having total control over the website. Learning computers is number one. The programs available out there make it easier to learn. Best of luck to all of you.!
Good information that I haven't seen elsewhere. I'm retired, so I'm not looking for anything right now, but this is a good resource when needed. Thanks,
Thanks for the info. There are so many sources out there it can be hard to know which ones to trust. Always nice to hear advice from someone who has used one of them. I would never have thought of fema!
Outstanding video! We are recently retired and preparing to transition to possibly full time. We are really interested in the possibility of remote working or work camper. Thanks for covering all of these options. Safe travels.
Glad you enjoyed the video and hopefully found it helpful. We hope your transition to fulltime goes well and you can get out on the road soon! 😊Brian & 🤓Michelle 🧡
Thanks for the info. We are considering the full time lifestyle as well, and you both have inspired us to try to move forward. Very good show, and great advice worth using! We hope you guys are on the move soon, and providing more information. Once this corona issue is behind us, then we hope to move forward!
@@LivinRVision I didn't see that until you said something so i looked at some more of your videos. you went with a airstream. very classic RV. my aunt and uncle had one but they never towed it anywhere it was always kept at the same park. they worked the park every year when in season. (Michigan)
@@LivinRVision You should, there are so many beautiful places especially in the northern part of the lower peninsula and then the entire upper peninsula. I'd recommend, hitting sleeping bear dunes, traverse city Petoskey, Frankenmuth, Mackinac island (st ignes has some great campgrounds), soo locks, pictured rocks, Tahquamenon falls, porcupine mountains... there's a lot here. on your way up stop in Shipshewana Amish country. lol
It is a Sofia + Sam memory foam lap desk. It has a soft fabric handle on the top side that I wrap a short bungee cord through and around the steering wheel. Works well and stays in place! I got it off Amazon.
We still recommend Flexjobs for remote work. They charge a fee for using their service but you at least know the jobs have been checked and are legitimate. We are not affiliated with them or any other job search service. Good luck! 🧡😊🤓
@LivinRVision. Hi Brian and Michelle. I was wondering if Michelle had prior pay roll experience. I'm an RN ( currently out of work, due to health issues, etc) and I'd like to look into this line of work. Is it difficult to learn? Also does it take a lot of training and exceptional computer knowledge? Thank you so much. Blessings.~Dana☺️❤️
Hi Dana! Yes, I’ve worked in the payroll field for about 25 years for various employers. There are different levels of payroll positions but usually a person would start out as a Payroll Tech or Assistant to learn. It also would depend on the size of the company and whether they process payroll for multiple-states (if they have employees in more than one state) or another country and if they have unions, these all add to the difficulty. I’ve worked for companies in different industries, some where the work was very easy (to almost boring) and like the company I’m at now that is large, multi-state, global, has unions, and can be very stressful at times. But I have a good team to work with so that keeps me there. 🤓 I’m so very sorry you’re out of work right now. I hope things turnaround and change for the better for you. I would say if you like to work with numbers, are computer-savvy, and don’t mind working with deadlines than you may like it. I’m not sure if you’re looking for jobs that are remote or not but you could try looking at Flexjobs.com for remote jobs. I think they list jobs that are 100% remote and partially remote. We wish you all the best and send positive thoughts your way. 🧡
@@LivinRVision Thank you so much Michelle for your thorough response. Sadly I'm not computer savvy, but your discussion about the various levels of payroll are of interest to me. Yes, I'm absolutely looking for 100 percent remote employment. I definitely will look into flex jobs. I've been watching a few of you and your husband's videos and you both are a lovely couple.🙏❤️
Interesting information but teaching might not be the best example. Remote teaching has been a staple for quite a bit of time. I imaging in this age of tech, there are a lot of remote jobs. The key is to find the job you will enjoy. I’m not trading one life in a box for another- the difference being the new box moves 🤣. I guess if you are desperate... Many people say the RV industry is going to explode. So looking in that area is a good idea. Some good points here. Thanks. Luckily we know the area we will work in. Skillshare and Udemy for me. Stay safe. Stay positive. Alice
“Teaching” was a simple example to type into the search box to use to show how the FlexJobs system works...not an example of “this is the job you should look for”.
I've been watching your videos the last month, non-stop. Research, research and more research as I plan on going full time RV living in 2021. My question for you is, what camera do you use to make your vidoes? I've been looking in your video descriptions but can't find any information. I hope to meet you out there - perhaps, have some pie with Michelle.
Hi Melanie! Thanks for watching! We need a nee and better camera especially for indoor shots. We currently use a GoOro Hero7 Black and 8 Always ready for a good pie! 👍🏻😊🤓

It’s a lap desk with a handle at the tip that I use a small little bungee cord to attach to the steering wheel. I believe we have a video where I talk more about it. If the exact one is not in our Amazon Store, I’ll add it soon. Link below.
Great video thanks for the info. What kind of internet access setup do you use for your RV? I’ve yet to be in a RV park that had anything near work from home grade internet.
We never use the RV parks internet. We have both an AT&T and a Verizon plan along with Visible (Which is Verizon) on our phones. We have not had a single problem since we have had all of these services.
@@LivinRVision Thanks for the reply. One more question, I don't know if you have to use a vpn, but if so which service seems to have the best overall performance? I am transitioning to more teleworking and would love to work from the RV.
Michelle’s work has a VPN through the company, other than that we wouldn’t “need” to use a VPN. I have heard good feedback about IPVanish being very good.
Well you can diseconomies it any way you’d like, but the purpose of places like Flexjobs is to strain out all the bogus jobs and find legitimate careers…there’s a big reason why employers use it. Just trying to be helpful with something different than what others share about remote jobs. Some of these jobs listed are not found anywhere else because the employers themselves are also trying to filter out too many applicants for one position. I’m sure if they don’t have any luck, they would broaden their reach further. If the info helps just one person, then we are happy.
Thank you for this information. Thank you for trying to help people.
Rule number 1 : Never EVER PAY ANYONE to hire you or get you work. If you have to pay any fees up front, don’t do it. It makes no sense when you have to “PAY” to work. Just beware!!
mostly yes- but flexjobs and upwork are legitimate. You get better listings from them that way. but most others -yes.

Unfortunately, there is no way to work in a grocery store remotely. At least until I can stock shelves using a drone remotely. Lol.
😂
