Thank you for the preview video Maximum Charge! We are truly excited about the F2.2 PRO coming to the market! We have limited availability for the first batch of F2.2 PRO bikes arriving at the end of February with a ship date of the first week of March-24. Once we sell through this inventory orders placed after will have a ship date of May 1st. The promotional discount we are currently offering $150 off that expires 03/01/24 for the product launch will be the biggest discount we offer.
This bike rips. I’ve already got 80 miles on mine. I still haven’t tried for top speed, tbh it’s a lot faster than the bikes I’m used to. It goes 0-30 in a few seconds. My other bike doesn’t have close to the torque ghostcat has, the pick up is ridiculous.
I definitely like these *upcoming* style videos. We get a solid look at what is slated to be released. Also covering any new cool tech, thanks for doing these for us.
Thank you for the vid. I have being in touch with Kevin via email. I didn't know he was the owner, he is a fantastic dude, he really help me out to place an order even with my issues with my credit card. Already waiting for my bike! Hope to see your review next month!
Looks great. Tough call between this and the goat power bikes. This one has 140nm of torque fl due to the geared hub motor. Goat offers 110nm but uses a 60v battery and 2000w motor vs 1500w here. I’m still debating which to choose.
As far as long term I think the direct drive motor that the Goat uses is going to be better. It can handle more power and won’t have the same potential for issues and maintenance of a geared hub motor. Better for modding and just long term. But that’s not to say that a reliable geared hub motor can’t be made, it totally can. Also the guys at Goat have a close relationship with their particular motor manufacturer and are involved in the process of how it’s made, how the windings are done, and they’ve figured out a good balance to be able to get very similar torque to a geared hub but from a fast direct drive. Something to think about. This Ghostcat is definitely sexy though and I would be interested to know about the internals of their geared hub motor. I think for my needs and the things I value, the Motor Goat V3 is where it’s at. So many great powerful bikes coming out it’s really difficult. I think watching closely how the company communicates with customers and creators is going to be a huge deciding factor.
Special promotion anyone that purchases a bike before March 1st can also purchase an extra 52V/20ah battery for $325 billed separately after purchase. Just contact us after bike purchase and let us know you would like to purchase a second battery at the special promo pricing $325.
I'm surprised you only have 3K subs, you deserve more, the only thing i don't like about the bike, it doesn't seem to have place for more batteries or even put a bigger one..
Trying to grow! My channel is only a year old. Yeah you're right its a tight fit, no wasted space on this frame. For some that might be good but if you're looking to add a second battery there doesn't seem to be much space you're right.
Hey buddy, i really appreciate your ebike channel. For the $2000 price point, they should had added a color display, instead of the mono chrome display and a key fob for starting that ebike. Just say"n
My lectric has the same display, it’s actually really good compared to my other bike that has a color display. It’s got voltage, watts and time running. It’s a solid display.
We considered going with a 60V system but we were concerned with the battery draw and limiting the range of the bike with a 20ah battery. We didn't want to put a bigger battery on the bike due to the weight. We felt like we could achieve similar torque as the 60v bikes by using a 52v battery, 40amp controller with a 1500W geared hub motor focused on torque. We feel like this combination provides outstanding torque while still having decent battery range.
We will be running promotions to purchase a second battery at a discounted price but unfortunately the frame is not built for a second battery plus we wanted to keep the bike lightweight.
@@GHOSTCATBIKES Sounds good. Do you have an idea of the price for the second battery? Also, I'm guessing it's gonna be the same capacity as the battery that comes with the bike?
@@LeeAyzahn We are targeting a selling price of $325 for an extra battery purchased with the bike purchase. Batteries purchased separately will be $500. The battery will be the same capacity 52V/20ah. The battery weighs 11lbs it's possible to throw in your backpack or put on a rear rack that we will introduce.
@@GHOSTCATBIKES Nice, I'm loving that price. If I wanted to buy the bike right now, how would I add additional batteries to my cart to take advantage of the presale discount code ?
@@LeeAyzahn just purchase the bike use the discount code and contact us after and tell us your order # and you would like to purchase an extra battery. We will bill you separately for the extra battery $325. Thank you
Ghost cat should make a different style a more like a "dirt bike" kinda like a budget surron. As they seem Like they are a budget company and they have good suspension so a less moped style bike could be cool.
The white one looks dope but I'd probably be cleaning that alot...I'd rather have torque than top speed, as long as the top speed is still good. I have hills, alot of stop signs, and lights. Also I don't care that it's the same frame as something else. If they can make it better than I'm for it
The top speed is still being tested/verified but 38mph is very easy to achieve consistently with 40mph+ possible under certain conditions. We focused on torque which is the most important performance spec riding in SOCAL with the very steep up/down terrains.
6:31 mark in the video, comparing direct drive to geared ? Geared is always going to have better acceleration and direct drive is always going to have better top speed if you're comparing wattage and volts. That's what makes the RH 212 a pretty special direct drive motor grin made modifications to increase the torque going to drop off after you hit 9 mph yes you're right the windings on this are pretty high which is resulting in a lot of torque but also you're not mentioning phase amps and the fact that that controller is fully programmable
This is the truth about e-bikes and kick scooters. The voltage of the battery will determine your speed. And how many amps is the controllers push will determine your torque and power. Amp hours=mileage..Also,"" the most important thing to know is. If you want any kind of power. You need dual motors.""" It doesn't matter if you have a 3000 watt motor or more. Without dual motors you'll get the speed but you will not get the power. But a 52 volt battery and 1000 to 1500 watt battery single. Will take off slow and gradual and maybe go 35 mph
Im sorry my friend but there are many many errors in what you said. Some truth too. First, voltage determines the motors max rpm, but if that motor hasn't gotten there yet, amps will influence what speed the motor will rotate, like climbing up a mild hill. Also, depending on the winding of the motor, it might spin slower, or faster, at the same voltage. It all depends on the motor. As for your dual motor statement, considering a few people I know have built ebikes with a single powerful motor that can go 60mph+ and have so much torque they can wheelie at 20mph, this simply isn't the case, you don't need dual motor. In terms of the realm of 52v ebikes however, dual motors will make the bike very very heavy, and power hungry, which will require more amp hours like you said, which now makes the whole ebike extremely heavy, and expensive.

Oh yeah those hills demand power
The only bike i seen so far for me is the motor goat v3 or the v2..the performance and styling with these goat bikes is well worth every penny..
fair enough. I like both. The goat is more for on road purposes, this one is more geared towards off roading I think.
