Using old stock war footage to show what the found item looked like when used back then, makes this channel different and so much more interesting than other metal detecting channels, and that is the main reason why I subbed. Keep up the great work guys.

Thank you guys! I love this channel! I'm in my late 40's and two of my Grandfathers fought for the U.S. in the Battle of the Bulge/Ardennes Counter Offensive. As a child, I would listen for hours as they brought their stories to life in my mind! Your perspective, respect for all these amazing artifacts and how you weave in the historical film to tell a story is a close second to hearing those first hand accounts. Love it! Well done.

You guys are truly my favorite Detectors! You go to places where actual battles took place and find all of the evidence and artifacts lost to history and time. The overlays when you find something to show what it looked like in its original condition and the the editing of your videos is amazing. The knowledge that you have about everything you find is phenomenal! And not to mention the respect you show to places and persons that fought in those places. Especially the episode where you went back after finding those Reverence Coins and put them back after finding out what they were. You earned a lot of respect and admiration from that act. Thank you for all you do. And also, Please be safe when handling the un-exploded ordnance. I cringe when I see that!

Something that YOU do that "not everybody does" is...."comment back" to people who ask questions, who compliment your videos AND the editing!!
Perhaps it is only MY opinion..(but I do not believe it)...but I think that WHAT you and your fellow "hunters" do and HOW you package it to us, your fans, in these videos, is short of amazing!! What we see is what you know we want! No tricks-like so many channels put up, to get people to "bite" on a video with tricky captions, etc. We watch to "be engaged" by you--with you...as you present to us armchair viewers quality pieces...each and every time you make your videos! Keep up the great work, everyone!!

It’s great that you actually put up the comparison piece to show everyone what it comes from. Excellent narrative with the finds also gents. Keep up finding history before it’s all gone and reclaimed by nature herself! To find the shell of a rocket is a find in a million. Priceless as these where fired and exploded with a type of coal dust explosive. Deadly to anything they hit!
How did men get time to shave on the from when the enemy was wanting to snipe at you or blow you to pieces with their artillery or infantry attacks?

It is just a reminder of a historic event that you thought you only could see on film, but to see and touch the real evidence where it was dropped and not touched for 78 years is something. The hearts and minds of the people who where there on both sides to tell the stories during that fight are few and are almost gone. Only the battlefield debris left behind can tell the physical story for us and is just as powerful. Nice video.

INCREDIBLE finds! Would you ever consider getting the binoculars restored? I know most items found likely remain as found, but since those are so complete, they might be worth getting refurbished. Anti-everything was some pretty funny stuff! 🍻

Thanks a lot! Yeah anti-everything is very true though haha. Not sure how I can get it restored. The glass of the lenses are not transparent anymore. Maybe it will be difficult...

04:50 this is a button and it says “LUDOVICUS REX PLURES NON CAPIT ORBIS,” which translates as, “There is no room in the world for more than one King Ludovicus.”
There is not much to find about it in the internet, but there are claims, that it might be a reference to either König Ludwig von Bayern or King Louis of France.
There buttons can be found all over Europe and parts of Russia.
If it was part of a uniform or other garment from the military, it might be well known, so there is still some kind of mystery about it.
