Thanks for the content from the chukar mountains of the Mojave. A Bic lighter dries in 20 seconds after submerged if you work the strike wheel. Much easier to start 🔥.

Old men always carry TP and pain relievers. I take vet wrap (dogs)and duct tape (cracked forearm). Bucks bag in Boise I believe was the original strap vest with a weight distribution belt. Good call. Another thoughtful video guys! P.S. using a squirt bottle to water dogs doesn’t work well on chukar hills so your advice is spot on to carry a container.
Bringing pain relievers on the hunt is a good idea. We usually have some at the truck but sometimes the truck is too far away!

Hey Guys, love the videos! What settings do you run with on your GoPros when chukar hunting?
Thanks, glad you are enjoying them! We have our GoPros in 2.7k 60fps in the linear mode. We found that the 60fps captures the action a lot better and makes the slow motion a lot smoother.
Oh wow- you guys are old school with the vest? And water bottle? You can buy what’s been called a Chukar rig. It goes around your waist, has plenty of pockets and stash areas for birds, plus many have a vertical pouch to put a camelback …….. it’s a game changer when you can carry 60-90 on of water for you and the dog and you can sip while walking. It’s been durable and now 20 years old.
I used to use a camelback but I always drink the water too fast when it is that easily accessible 😂 and for some reason my hose likes to leak. We are fans of the vest for sure but haven't tried the belt only rig, sounds interesting
Love suspenders and full camo shotguns, pants stay up, gun has no glare and less surface for rust.
