I did my first motherboard repair. Feel so happy. With zero knowledge of electronics I was able to do so just because of you and Sorin sir. You both are genius. Inspiration for millions. Thanks a ton sir. Great respect for you both. God bless 🙏🙏🙏
Finally i ve learned how to test mosfets. thank you very much Sir. Your lessons are the best from youtube. I watched a lot of video about laptop repairs and i think that: "you are are playing in another league".
I gained new knowledge everytime i watched your videos. Fascinating to see how competence and skillful you are sir. You tackle the problem wisely. Good job sir!
I rly love the way of your research! Awesome! Thank you! PS: I had a lot of research, for the word " Mosfet " I'm from another country and not fluent in english! I had more research to find the meaning of the word, than i needed to fix my stuff! Thanks for that great vids! Go on with ya great precious work!
I am watching a few guys repairing laptops. In generals all of them are mounting pair of new mosfets when they have similar issue. Also after damage like this the controller can be also to exchange. They discuss this in that otherwise the fault can recur quickly.
Clean and quick per usual. Just starting to learn this stuff and its really fun watching your channel. Keep up the good work! Do you do free shipping on orders over a certain amount from your shop? I was considering buying a few things but then the shipping kind of got me.
Since Apple stores' Genius Bars like to cause more problems with their products that its customers bring in, it is great that you are there to sort out the problems and be their "Super Genius" BOSS. I know that this was not an Apple product but just wanted to give you the credit for ALL the fixes being done Much Better Than "Apple" Factory..........Ha!
Hello from France, I love your videos and I looked a lot of them already. Through all what I have seen it seems that bad MOSFET are often the source of the problem. I was wondering if you could take some time to explain what is causing a MOSFET to become bad. Is it an overvoltage from the power supply, or an overcurrent, or overtemperature, or an ESD maybe? Could you provide an engineer explanation ? Thanks for all what you already did. Best regards, Pierre
Hi Sir have a nice day. I just want to ask help from you, coz I have a repair of laptop HP Pavilion g6-1a69us.There's a power light, but when i press the start Button power is cycling loop Then when I disassembled the laptop there's no BIOS on board. I thought the technician who previously repaired the laptop removed that. Now I do not have a donor board to compare what's the number of the bios. So I'm asking for your help if you know what is the bios number for HP Pavilion g6-1a69us.I googled it already but there's no exact Schematic diagram. Thanks in Advance.
I need help . My laptop is dell 3567 the problem is it starts sometimes and sometimes time not. I c aa nt figure out the problem the 19 v is good as it goes to app points where it should be .

Nice video. Would be better if you gave more info on how you assumed it was the mosfets, and their locations. I mean move explanaition for beginners. Thanks!
He did say that "Power Mosfets" are usually the source of the problem. I just chalk it up to his vast experience. A fully dead board. Plug in power and check to see if it is coming in. Disconnect power and; He checks with meter for shorts. He checks with meter for voltage drops. Diagnosis confirmed after removal of both Mosfets.
