It would be interesting how competitive Button would be in the Indycar Series. There is is no power steering it would become a physical challenge to move the steering wheel

The other thing is Jota doesn't run in IMSA and Acura don't run in WEC, there isn't any conflict with sponsors and stuff. It is also why Hartley while being Toyota factory driver is in the other Acura team and is going to run the endurance rounds with them.

I understand that Americans get really excited about the 24 hours of Daytona but it's like racing in a football stadium. Is it a culture thing me preferring the wide open spaces of Road Atlanta, Road America, Monza, Le mans etc. It's a serious question gentlemen.
Yes, it’s a culture thing. Generally, you were an Indy car fan or a Nascar fan with sports cars less represented on TV. The modern sports cars with the international flavor and technology have become my favorite series. To be clear, when they stop making noise I’ll take up knitting.
Sure it has some long oval sections, but it’s still a fun and challenging track. Also remember it’s the longest race in the IMSA series and a huge event with a lot of history. 24hr of Daytona is literally older than the Super Bowl.
