Ahh memories, my dad used to take us and our dogs for a walk along that line from hawthorns to the last tunnel (the one in your video). we saw a class 37 at the old blue circle cement works and the BR staff weren't bothered in the slightest about us being up there... I watched some of the work when they were building the metro line and the heavy rail routes .
In the last shot of the cl.150 departing towards Moor St it shows the connection into Plat 4 commissioned as part of the Snow Hill reopening but later removed when platform 4 line became part of the tram network but with it's own platform structure and escalator. Both now lie unused after the trams were extended towards the city centre in 2015. Much talk about Plat.4 and the connection being reinstated to NR's infrastructure but alas no funding after nearly a decade of trying.
It’s very encouraging to see what’s happened since 1994; and lots to look forward to with the tram extensions and HS2. Thanks.

Will be brought back into use soon apparently. JG
Something about this feels so surreal to me
A lot of that has changed as of today snow hill line trains continue beyond snow hill and go to Kidderminster and Worcester shrub hill
Does the tunnel connect to moor street station, so trains can cross the city underground?
Yes
Did they in fact extend the line afterwards?
yes
