Im an engineering apprentice at the SDR, and 1369 is easily my favourite loco to work on- far easier than a normal pannier to maintain and has bags of character!
Magnificent video mate. I find 1369 a very interesting Pannier Tank. I've seen & rode behind her at the Severn Valley Railway during their Spring Steam Gala weekend almost 3 weeks ago.
I remember travelling behind 1369 on the South Devon Railway when I went on holiday to Devon as a child, so travelling behind her at the Severn Valley's Spring Gala a few weeks ago brought back some memories! I'd forgotten how characterful she is, not to mention how small (is it odd to call a steam engine adorable?)!
Easily my favourite type of Pannier! Sadly, Weymouth tramway is no more now that the council have ripped the rails up. What a tourist attraction that could have been..

I remember them on the Weymouth tramway. I have a couple of photos somewhere.
I’ve caught her visiting the Severn valley railway spring steam gala of this year

Just bought a 00 model of 1370 and had it sound fitted...
Great little engine and a true survivor.

Great little film - thank you..
Another good engine of unique intrest being covered is always great!
"Only type of Pannier tanks to be fully kitted out with tramway gear" *looks at the 2021 class Panniers at Birkenhead docks...
Technically not wrong for the time period the 1366s got their tramway gear as the last 2021 class had gone by 1957!
What the next loco going to
ncie youve reached 700 subs
