Awesome video mate : ) I like the modern Great Western Railway livery as well the lettering on 1369 during it last day of service. I would like to see a Great Western locomotive painted in this livery on different classes of engines such as small and large Prairies as well other Panniers and also the 14XX auto tank.

It looks bloody marvelous ( and I'm an L.N.E.R fanboy myself), the shade of Marine green is perfect. Hopefully it goes back into service in the near future. Until then we just have to wait for old 1366 over here Cheers Avi

Shame the hst wasn't painted in great western green as well, could have looked like a before and after shot. She is definitely a strange sight in that livery, but it's a great shame that she is now out of traffic, so won't be able to see her for a long time. Great video of the event nonetheless. SDJR7F88. visitors can not run locos but it is only £5 a year to be a member. But to be a member of the garden railway you have to be a member of the south devon railway. otherwise it's easy to join. ;-)
I'm not sure if I like that livery or not on a Pannier... I take it this is just a novelty livery? Not sure about the whistle on 1366 either. Nice shots anyway and certainly an interesting video.
It was just a bit of a joke by the team there I think. Was a good laugh. The whistle was also a special addition. Certainly was a hoot! :D Glad you enjoyed

Breaking news this tank is now back in steam after two years off from the line and z48 was the headcode of the Ian Allan’s railtour on 9th May 1964
