Code C1260 indicates a problem with the steering angle sensor, which could be a faulty sensor or a short in the harness. Since wiring issues are rare, it's likely the sensor is faulty.
Hi was this causing the power steering to not work? I have the same code and My car has no power steering so it is very hard to turn. I have replaced the whole steering column and it still does not work. Please don't tell me it was this clock sensor the whole time!

Could be a gear bax next to pedal not getting electric or ground look at it .

Did you move The locking key after you installed the part?
You should move the lock key after you install the steering angle sensor .
also make sure the car has good alignment
