- This is Railway Training School Walton Lahore. Here different officers, station masters and train drivers are given training about the working of Pakistan Railways and movement of trains. The whole process is explained by the help of models. It is a complete detail of the working of Pakistan Railways.

Any English railwayman from a hundred years ago would instantly recognise this system , it has not changed apart from diesel and electric locomotives since partition, railways in the rest of the world have moved on while Pakistan railways are still stuck in 1900 , still pretty much as the English left it

Couple of observations. Rail is not the priority for transportation and passenger. Secondly, even US and Canada, speed is 150, except one in US for 200 km.
So speed doesn’t matter, the safe journey is important. Thanks

This system follow in India in former days approximately 10 years ago but now India railway is fully automatic with world class amenities.
