I can't remember ever seeing the former Euclid Square Mall from I-90 at the E. 260/Babbitt exit, but today you can see the Amazon facility that replaced the mall from the highway...
8/4/2022 At the Brook park road exit, go west to State Road, turn right, go to next traffic light, turn right again (Ralph Ave,) go to next cross street (w. 32nd Str.) and you arrive at the place I grew up (red brick house on the right on the corner. That was in the 1950's and 60's. Cleveland has changed a lot since 1980 when I moved away, but it's still home. Thanks for the whorl wind tour. ;-)
It's not a bad drive and a great entry into downtown. Of course I do a little synching of the pace, but I decided to start a little further from other videos I saw covering this route. Thanks for watching.
Nice!!! Always nice to see the roads I know well! I know the famous curve well- it's local nickname is Dead man's Curve. It was named so due to a lot of accidents there over the years in the early days. I've spent many hours on those roads in my lifetime going to visit relations and or go to up to Cleveland for ballgames!
Thanks! The curve didn't bother me as much as the traffic that I encountered after it. I knew they were working on the new bridge, but the route I took was the one I intended to take.
Thanks! Growing up in Chicago, as much as people talk about our freeways, they're meh to me. I'm really envious of all the options they have in Cleveland and Ohio.
+TheSolarcatcher yes always thought freeway system was good in NE Ohio....unlike friggin gridlock in Phoenix!....oh how I miss those lovely gray skies...no sun to burn out eyes! lol! great footage!
Next time you plan a trip to Cleveland I would recomend June that's when the Duck Tape Fesitval is held in the west suburb of Avon it's a lot of fun I am going this year.
Thanks Jim! That tune and rendering faster than usual made the difference. I've been wanting to use that for a long time. Hopefully if I'm through here again I can get more of I-71, 90 and the Shoreway.
Texas Turnarounds are special U-turns that drivers can use to get to the other side of a frontage road. They're located under underpasses or on an overpass. They're ideal for areas that don't have a lot of opportunities to cross the freeway. Here's more: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_U-turn
This was my ride home everyday when I lived in Cleveland....what a relaxing drive it was.
Nice. 🔥🔥🔥 Appreciate the ride. Have not been to Cleveland in over 20 years. Great to get a feel for I-90 again (especially that curve).

Cleveland rocks theme from the drew Cary show
It doesn't get any better than this journey to the limit
Very nice video! Never thought taking 90 West into Downtown would be so long from your standpoint & you could still see glimpses of the skyline.

This bring me such good memories of my US adventure. Thanks for this video series, you really touched a nerve there.
Thanks! Appreciate it!
Cleveland sure is one of the big Great Lakes cities with good freeway traffic. Another are in Milwaukee and Detroit.
Great ride, one of your best to date in my opinion.
Thanks! This was a fun one to do, but there's one coming up that I liked even more than this one.
great ride - perfect sync at the curve. Enjoyed it.
Thanks John! I thought so too. I was working to make sure I caught it.
Nice ride Kris! Cleveland has a very well connected freeway system!

I'll try. But I definitely want to get back here again. Maybe I can work it in getting back to Georgia (intentionally out of the way).
I like the view of city have highlight and its wonder kind all charm
Good stuff, excellent route you chose there and you covered a lot of ground, great tune too, I thought it was EBTG when I heard Tracey Thorne's voice.
Thanks Jim! That tune and rendering faster than usual made the difference. I've been wanting to use that for a long time. Hopefully if I'm through here again I can get more of I-71, 90 and the Shoreway.
This lamb grazed on the shores of Lake Erie in Cleveland once. It was yummy. Of course there is so much to see
Nice ride!
Thanks for watching!
That 35 mph curve on a interstate...o_O
Yeah. It wasn't as bad as you think. Thanks for watching!

What is a TexasTurnaround Kris? We have emergency turnarounds for police and the like, but illegal for everyone else.
