Which Jeep would you buy?
Let us know!
I'd buy the JL. FYI - My JKU has a stock key keyfob with remote start and remote lock/unlock.
CJ Off-Road jk all the way. You can buy an 07 and install a v8 with one tons and still be cheaper than a Jl rubicon
JKU (from Leningrad)
I just went through this. I had $30k to spend and wanted to buy something that was already done with a high quality lift kit and low miles. I got the 3.8L JKU rubicon with a Rock Krawler 4.5 long arm kit, coilover in the front and less than 60k miles. I got it with some $$ to spare. A JLU rubicon stock would have run me much higher than $30k. These things hold their value like crazy. I am okay with the 3.8l and 4 speed after regearing. On 37s
$40k JLU rubicon used is just crazy. And that is without lift kids, 37” tires, bumpers, winch and everything else
Glad you like it...The 3.8 motor is simply a dog with it's weak automatic transmission gearing. Why not get a 2012+ 3.6? You can find them nicely built for $30k
The new Ford Bronco is the BEST thing that's happened for the Jeep enthusiast...now maybe Jeep will step up their game and put a little more thought into their Wranglers and Gladiators. They are good vehicles but the competition was sorely missing and now that non-existent market sector will heat up.
Poor wrench 😢😂 2:13
JL for me
Great video, thank you! Just picked up a 2019 JL.
Wow awesome! Can't wait
A lot of electrical problems with the JLs, can’t fix that stuff out on the trail...I’m still very skeptical.
Remote start on my 2015 JKUR. Factory option.
nice
already got a jk 2011 (33 tires) .. jk doesnt ask to much to jl, its great
There's no point in getting a JL over a Jk but there is a point in going with a JT over a JK. I'd trade my big ass JKU for a JT if I weren't trading it in for a Bronco. Oh no, that's going to piss some people off..... My JKU has been super loyal and reliable. Nearly 116,000 miles in 5 years with absolutely no problems, heavy offroading etc. And I drive it hard but it's time to trade it in for something new.
Nothing wrong with the 3.8, fitted with the right gearing it’s a beast off-road, that’s what they built for, not city driving. But each to their own, I would not spend a fortune on a late model only to have it smashing the trails.
I plan on buying a newer model Unlimited and customizing quite a bit. Is it important what trim level I get; Sport, Sahara, Rubicon, etc? I plan on adding lift kits and making it nice and "shiny".
There is also ck am i right
What’s the bumper on the 2 door Jl at 2:56. Love the xxx under it
Rugged Ridge Arcus
Xxx is not for the bumper, it's a thing, that stock skirt attaches to.

pros of a JK:
colors
stopped watching there
JT looks great but it needs 40” tires. 👍
soon!
Price isn’t an advantage
Jl is lower to the ground and doesn’t quite fit through some trails like the jk can
Have you compared a Sport JL with JK Rubicon?
My JL Sahara is has almost 1" frame clearance and 0.5" diff clearance than Sport JK
🤙
