Great work on the install. I am at the moment talking with the dealer for buying the canopy camper. How has this install been working for you since you fitted it?
Hey mate, we are just coming out of summer here, it hadn't been fired up for 5-6 months, last week I had to prime the fuel line and ran it for an hour as a test, and thankfully no issues, fired right up and working perfectly still.
Nice idea.I strongly recommend you to put the exhaust down to eliminate any possible condensation issue building up.I use a grass tractor style air filter on mine...the one who comes with the heater is shit.
Hey mate, I did here a similar story also, all I can say is, its run flawlessly for me, and we have used it heaps of times over 30 nights minimum, with no issues. I'm not sure if it matters but I have the heat blowing upwards and not downwards. Cheers mate 🤟
Awesome. No issues with fuel filling in burn chamber on shutdown? Everyone on the CDH page say glow plug needs to be on top. So only works , heat outline down. But seems you have nor had issues
I'm around 150 hours with no issues, you would think if I was going to have a issue I would of by now? maybe if your fuel tank is above the heater you could get a drain some how into it, but my fuel tank is below the heater, when you turn it off, it burns off any of the fuel. Again I can only comment on my experiences with it. Good luck with whatever you deiced to do with it.@@tommdool-wetcoastexpeditions
@@guidon.5413 2L can last me 3 or 4 nights or so but its only running for 2 hours or so, I run it for about 30 mins before gong to bed , and 10 mins after going to bed, maybe run it in the middle of the night if it gets really cold, and run it for 15 ins before getting up in the morning, it makes it handy with a remote control.
@@PommyDownUnder Thanks a lot for the info! Great to know. We're just about to install a diesel heater in a Canopy Camper as well and are thinking about these things.

I think normally, condensation generates in the muffler , but i will keep an eye on it. Thanks
How has this worked out. I have been told the DH can not run vertical like this, due to glow plug placement.

@@PommyDownUnder - May I ask how you get along with the size of the tank? 2L seems small.
