Someone once told me that you can tell a true musician not by the way they use sound, but by the way they use space. Your use of space and restraint creates such beautiful, thoughtful moments that gives me goosebumps. That's exactly what makes a great cover. 0:33 - The unexpected and individual originality. Hats off! The pauses between individual notes show self-confidence. I would argue that this isn't even a cover, it's living in melodies - pure art expression at its finest.

I was expecting a heavy LH arpeggio in the first chorus and didn't expect that pause. This song was already extremely emotional but this arrangement really developed the piece in a way that would've never occurred to me. That lack of low end in the first chorus evokes such a "longing" feeling of a time or person. What a beautiful arrangement and playing! Thank you for sharing this with the world.

There is no way any of us here can deny the gorgeousness of your arrangement of this tune. I honestly love the contrast in dynamics that you've shown in your arrangement - the soft parts and the loud parts. Your entire performance was very engaging too, and you sure know how to make us stay interested throughout your entire arrangement. your ears discovered the minor two five (ii-V) that i intercepted before the chord everyone expects at the drop :) i think that's the biggest or only thing i changed harmonically in the whole song! the dynamics are most noticeable but you found my little creative piece, thank you 🥰 i sometimes write songs when they come to me but i'm definitely not a confident writer. your comment makes me want to try again though...
