My mother had that round brass looking thing with the cupid on the top. It was part of a three piece bathroom set. There was a oval mirror, that sat on the counter, a square tissue box holder, and that was a cover for a can of hair spray. You could have it on the counter and it looked "pretty".
Well, because it is cute! Just like your three little boxes to which you added the bow. Each individual box seemed insignificant but once you added your magic touch, very cute. Nice haul.
I have that brown hamper. Wedding gift from my aunt Esther in 1970. Came with trash can and tissue holder. Never got tired of them. Still using them after 50 years!
Federalist Ironstone was sold by Sears I'm the late 1960's. I picked up a whole set of it, French scalloped plates, etc, for a song back in the 90's. Good find.
My favorite is your gift station you created the velvet boxes with the tied ribbon looks perfect there! Thank you for all of your endless ideas. Your home is beautful!
Well done, Danielle. Some great bits you purchased. You saved the best until last though and you surprised us all with the Lamp. Can't wait to see it complete and working when the two new shades arrive. So very stylish and elegant. And, yes, you are correct about Staffordshire porcelain. It's the County in England known as "The Potteries" because of their vast amount of Pottery and Ceramics made in that region. Great video, lovely lady and I'm looking forward to your Christmas and End of Year posts ..... As always, thank you ♥️🎄👏🧑🎄😉🌱🇬🇧
Danielle I like the bowls and oval, scalloped dishes with pretty edges and crazing!I akso like the 3 little boxes displayed together!! Like your floor lamp too!!Enjoy!😁🤶🍭🎄🍭🌹🍭🎀🍭👒🍭
I thought that brass bowl with blue was very pretty. Someone needs to show you how to use the google camera to look up items when you are thrifting. I learned last year and it is so amazing!!! Of course, you can't do that and film at the same time unless you carry another phone with you. Save an old phone for just that purpose! I had a feeling you would bring home that bowl with the stained crazing and what a cute size of that little platter. Such a great idea to stack those little boxes!!!
The small white platter is an under plate to a gravy boat. You have a really good decorating eye. Everything is very well appointed. I'm a new subscriber!
The tall silver cylinder container was made to cover up hair spray cans on your vanity table. Probably 1960's. I had a gold colored one. Came with a mirrored vanity tray and a box to cover up kleenex tissue boxes. Memories....lol.
Hi Danielle Jackson and Lincoln xoxo I really love the blue and white plates perfect for winter thanks so much for sharing always Laura happy holidays ❤
*I loved the blue and white bowl you bought and I knew you would bring it home with you, Danielle. 💙😉🤍 Don't feel badly; I didn't notice the chip, either - and I usually see ANY & ALL CHIPS, LOL‼️🤣🤣🤣 That ice blue cake pedestal Depression glass plate would have definitely come home with me❣️💙😉*
You are not alone... The price of any and everything everywhere is rising. Even the thrift stores. Why? It was donated for gosh sakes🎉😂❤ PS I think that was a hairspray can cover. Way back in the 60' s!😂🎉❤
Great ironstone bowls and small serving dish with crazing and stain. I also liked the big silver and brass (gold) bowl, the old green frame with flower print and the snowman cup in the store.
Hi there I see lots of instone in charity shops in England wear I live but iv never picked eny up but after watching you get a few piece to put together happy shopping and a merry Christmas Carol in England
I have an antique mirror tray similar to that one. I paid $20 for it 20 years ago at an estate sale. Dealers like these to show off their wares in displays. That’s why the $40.
Hi, Danielle! I would be thrilled with that tufted box 4:25 to hold precious old letters! And someone please tag me, when we figure out what that brass filigree cylinder is!
The items is an Oramlou Hairspray can cover
Much prettier to look at that's for sure.

That was fun! I use to love to browse thrift shops, but don't have the time any more, this way I got to look some and I didn't spend any money! 😊
Good deal! Haha thank you for watching!

Thanks so much! 😊
Those are some very nice finds. Thanks for sharing.
That wood thing is a nut cracker!
I will bet alot of meals were cooked with *Love* and put into those bowls.😅🎉❤
I think the silver piece is for like a hair salon or barber shop where they keep the combs sitting in sanitizer 🤷🏼♀️

Your Goodwill is far superior to the ones in my area, and I don't live in a bad area.

Lol, I was recently in the same shop and saw the same mirrored tray for $40 and just thought...why?? 😂
I never thought about using the little jewelry boxes as decor but what a great idea!
Great finds..
LOVE THIS
Love all your cute dishes! Haha. Little jewelry boxes are a good find!, 💕❤️👍🎄🌲
Enjoyed.
We literally had the Same reaction to the $15 dish 😳😂
Look at you finding those presentation boxes!
You look amazing in that color 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🌲🙋🏻♀️
Thank you so much!!
Love the dishes, they are cute!
I love the crazed platter!🤍
The wooden piece is a nutcracker. You put the nut in at the flat wood piece and twist the "legs."
This has to be a joke?? LOL ain’t no way people were doing all that 😂😂
Yep! I was coming to post the same. I have one. Mine has a square wood piece on the other end. You put the nut in and twist, and the nut cracks.
@@bonnierainwater4484 that is crazy to me! Haha I wouldn’t have ever imagined it to be a nut cracker!
I literally can’t wait for the haul!!!
It's OK to call the dishes cute....😊
It’s for hairspray.
Hi there I see lots of instone in charity shops in England wear I live but iv never picked eny up but after watching you get a few piece to put together happy shopping and a merry Christmas Carol in England
Oh lucky!! I would break the bank! Lol
Awesome video lots of great stuff even what you didn’t buy
Wow. Those are some high prices on the oddest things
I have an antique mirror tray similar to that one. I paid $20 for it 20 years ago at an estate sale. Dealers like these to show off their wares in displays. That’s why the $40.
That piece you’re questioning is for spare toilet paper. From the 70’s.
Nice haul. I think the velvet jewelry boxes are called.........jewelry boxes. 😉
Haha the name I was looking for was presentation box 😂
I was thinking maybe caskets. I know that's what the little metal jewelry holders are called.
The item you called a funky table, was actually a candle mold, notice tbey were hollow, Pour wax in to harden for candles
Hm, they weren’t hollow but someone else said it’s for cracking walnuts? Haha so idk who to believe! 😂

A vintage cover for your can of hairspray
Season’s Greetings…
Those prices are too high! Metal piece was for a can of hairspray; I think/used to see them on vanities
Its a table. For what? For who? Art. 😂
😂😂😂
