I totally agree! I'm kind of tired of ppl asking me in school why am I so quite, why I never talk and all.. They don't understand me, I wasn't always quite like that, after 2 years in the lockdown without actually talking face to face with any of the friends, only chatting online, and also some salty ppl making me feel bad about myself, I don't have the courage to talk with anyone now. I can only talk to those who are super close to me - Like family, relatives, neighbours, cousins. I don't like the new me either, but I don't know how to change myself again. There's hardly 2 ppl in my class I talk to, because I feel comfortable with them.
You know, I also have these 2nd thoughts in my mind always like when I'm about to say anything, these thoughts come in my mind
examples :
"What If what i'm gonna say look cringe?"
"I'm gonna make a total fool of myself If I say that.."
"What if everyone laughs.."
"What if this changes the thoughts of people about me.. make me look bad infront of them?"
And than I end up not saying it :(
Me to. I’m comfortable around people I know like my close family and close friends and not so comfortable around people I’m not close with/don’t know, even if that includes old friends, classmates, and teachers. I agree so much with Dhar and I’m happy he made this video!

I can relate to Clara. I was a quiet, shy, socially awkward teen with social anxiety disorder, and there were literally TONS of Megan types at my school, constantly bullying me.

I’m an extremely quite person when you don’t know me, when you know me i talk a lot.
I was too when I was younger. I can’t stand people who underestimate quiet people and just assume that they’re always shy. Especially when it comes from someone they either just met or hardly spend time with.
As someone who is almost always quiet, I know what it feels like trying to fit in. And If anyone tries to pick on you for being quiet, don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself.

What matters is how you think, not how many words you say. Some people (including myself) don’t talk much during the first few days of school. However, I always try to help others to give them a good impression. I also try to always give the best answers I could in class when I’m answering my teacher’s questions. You make friends by showing them your capabilities. That’s how a capable and smart person’s brain work. You have to earn the respect, not demand it.

As a quiet person my kindness and thoughtfulness is what got me somewhere in social groups , not spontaneous beauty or having to be extrovert to get around somewhere.

Im so quiet at school, I get bullied for being quiet all the time at school, yet when I'm sitting alone singing by myself, my friends are always around and say I have a beautiful singing voice! Keep up the great work!!

I agree 1000%. I was quiet when I was younger and still am sometimes. People don’t get it. They’re very capable of opening up and being outgoing. Just only around people they trust AND whose who are friendly and inclusive.

Omg I'm glad some light has been put on this I myself from the also very quiet person and people really judge based off of your face expressions or how you don't talk much sometimes and they all think you're just will like the video says a mute but this is awesome that Dar man sees the potential of people who are a little bit more reserved because even though this wasn't in the video like a pearl inside is the most part where the beauty is and that's just like how quiet people are I love your videos dar man keep up the good work!!
