Just bought one. Will be delivered tomorrow. I bought the 50 cal 22 inch. After looking at the fpe and fps the 50 cal made sense for my needs. I bought the S45 a while back and with it jamming all the time I believe the Megladon in dual tanks will give us a reliable multi shot big bore
How are you liking your new .50? I was really wishing they would have made the S45 more reliable but it's still having issues so I'm looking at the Meg in .50
@Matthew-wn8oq love it. Zero issues with cycling. Only draw back is you have to count your shots until empty. I wish it would lock out or something. Other than that I would definitely recommend the Megladon

Group from 1.5 inches change to 1 inch. Or more 1/3 energy? That’s why most of bigbore pcp in the world without reg . In fact only AEA have 2 bigbore gun have reg. Because they are for Benchrest competition.Different configurations for different purposes are truly professional！

I have watched a lot of videos about using these air rifles as self-defense. 45 caliber and below are your best options because of the magazine. For hunting 45 and above because of fpe. When it comes to yards, the caliber fps or fpe don't matter past 50 yds. The drop rate is so dramatic. 50 yds is even pushing it, but it is possible.
Part of the reason i was interested in pcp is the noise..if i want to take a second shot but you just scared away every animal in 5 miles...I take it its just as loud as a firearm then by peoples resposes ive read...hahaa
I'm going to need MUCH MUCH MORE SPEED FROM THAT THING before I ever take it seriously. At 700 fps and some change it shows that it is still too weak and is not ready to be released until it pushes WAY MORE. Comeback when the lowest speed is 1100 fps or more, till then it's a HARD PASS.
53 Foot Pounds of Energy (FPE) is considered Lethal. This puts out 400+ FPE at max power with a slug half an inch thick. It will travel 3 Football Fields of length in 1 second.... Yes i would say if you shot a home intruder with this thing they would probably need to call the Mourge, not the Paramedics 😅
dont listen to what this dumbass says YESS IT GOES THROUGH A CAR DOOR I ALREADY TRIED IT!!! used both my Aea M50 .50cal and this megaladon airgun which SUPRISINGLY was a bit more powerful in the forst mag than my m50 (i had only filled m50 to 3500psi where as the megaladon we filled to 4500 psi) and yet BOTH did very devastating to my boys good ole 2014 chevy silverado (wants an insurance check since hes gettin another car😂😂) through the front out the back the first side and in thru the front and BIG mountain peak on the back. so to answer your question bro YES THEY ARE ALL DEVASTATING!!! use em and care for them as though they were actual firearms these are NOT to play with weve also shot down som yotes, 2 deer, 7quails, and 1moose THEY ARE POWERFUL BROTHA!!!
Just got mine...filled up to 4000 psi and got valve lock. Had to shoot whole magazine for it to get up into the 700s. Not what I was expecting, I don't know how you got your's to work at that pressure, mine is more like 3500 psi. Useless

Wasn’t boring, and it was informative. Thanks for testing this so that we can have an idea as to the performance. I agree with the earlier comment about the need to regulate this gun. That would probably help with the accuracy too, but would lower the shot count unless the power was tuned down.

First shot was 361.89 FPE shot 8 was 215FPE that's a monster Slug you was shooting nice to see the mags are good size!

I think aea should regulate all their guns, the fps drops every shot by quite a bit with one tank, two tanks wasn't as bad

I mean to be honest that's not much less the a 45 cal pistol.
So 230 grain at 800 fps vrs 290 grain at 750.
