They don’t shoot at 7,000 psi, they are regulated to 4,500, they just maintain the 4,500 psi until the high side reaches the low side pressure. Essentially it gives you a full magazine or however many shots at full power.

Your not going to survive that. Its shooting lead slugs that are 357 to 58caliber in size with anywhere from the same power as a 45acp pistol round to a 44magnum cartridge. So unless you think someone could survive a 1911 blown in their face or a 44mag revolver shot into their chest no thy would have no chance at survival. A shotgun is better because it has multiple buckshot rounds allowing a spread of shot for each round fired allowing a higher chance of hitting your target and nuetralizing the threat as fast as possible so in a short range home defense situation that spread will cover an entire doorway making it easier to hit a intruder than it would be with this gun which you have to be dead on for every shot since it is shooting a singular bullet like a large caliber rifle does.
If you wish for non lethal home intruder protection someone makes a co2 pistol that shoots pepperspray and CS gas balls. I don’t think I could rely on some pepper spray to protect me in that situation, but if your dead set on non lethal, there it is. There are also bean bags and rubber bullets for shotguns, those rubber bullets mess up and are lethal anyway sometimes though.

As far as keeping it for home defense will the seals give out if you keep it charged for an extended amount of time?
@@Ross-px9iy actually for a pcp airgun it's better for them to always have pressure in the tank, it keeps the seals from drying out.
