    I have a megalodon 510. It was working beautifully for over 50 shots or so, but now......even after a 4500psi fill, it shoots very weak until it gets down to 4000 psi, and then it becomes super powerful again. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING? Some people say that it is a valve or pressure lock, but my gun never did this before. Also, the gun is rated to 4500psi, so why would it shoot so weak at 4500 psi? Thanks.

      @@ifeetz7612 check your cocking handle, if loose, its rubbing on the frame and slowing down the hammer speed/strength (low power shot) just loctite that thing in.

    As far as keeping it for home defense will the seals give out if you keep it charged for an extended amount of time?

      @@Ross-px9iy actually for a pcp airgun it's better for them to always have pressure in the tank, it keeps the seals from drying out.

      @@Boom.Strike really? I had no idea. I'm only used to pump action CO2 and spring piston and with all of those it's usually better to not have gun pressurized or cocked.

      They don’t shoot at 7,000 psi, they are regulated to 4,500, they just maintain the 4,500 psi until the high side reaches the low side pressure.
      Essentially it gives you a full magazine or however many shots at full power.

      Where is the facepalm emoji?
      The 7,000 psi “ready” airguns do not Shoot from 7,000 psi, they only shoot from 4,500 psi.
      Therefore they Are Regulated, from 7,000 psi down to 4,500 psi.
      They are Not Regulated Below 4,500 psi.
      Bin Tac has stated this repeatedly in videos about this topic.
      Any AEA Airguns which will be coming out that states 7,000 psi ready, do not shoot from 7,000 psi. The purpose of the 7,000 psi fill is to give the shooter More 4,500 psi “full power” shots.

    • @Brianbri-nq3cc
      @Brianbri-nq3cc 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@akseminole 💡You're hearing it wrong friend, there is no production airguns that can handle 7000psi yet because the valves will NOT open when the hammer hits. This new .95 Zeus from AEA will be the only one able to HOLD 7000psi SUPPOSEDLY, But we will see. But There is NONE that are regulated at 4500psi in existence as of today because our DOT LAWS in the U.S. has restrictions in place for that as of now, but there is (1)ONE gun that has the DOT stamp of approval from the DOT for 5000psi and that is the HUBEN GK1, and that gun isn't even regulated to 4500psi friend. Have you ever heard about the term "Bell Curve", meaning the valve barely opens at 4000psi to 4500psi, so what sense would it make to regulate an airgun to 4500psi when the valve barely opens at 4000psi guy, here's your emoji now use it🤦👍 If you want to debate about air pressure, next time don't pick someone that works in Air Pressure Engineering friend💥😂🤣 I have AEA's number if you want to call them and ask them yourself😜

      I’m not sure why you think it won’t kill someone that thing is powerful! If it can take down big game like dear etc.. it is very deadly lol

    • @JayWilkins-zh7fx
      @JayWilkins-zh7fx 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Your not going to survive that. Its shooting lead slugs that are 357 to 58caliber in size with anywhere from the same power as a 45acp pistol round to a 44magnum cartridge. So unless you think someone could survive a 1911 blown in their face or a 44mag revolver shot into their chest no thy would have no chance at survival. A shotgun is better because it has multiple buckshot rounds allowing a spread of shot for each round fired allowing a higher chance of hitting your target and nuetralizing the threat as fast as possible so in a short range home defense situation that spread will cover an entire doorway making it easier to hit a intruder than it would be with this gun which you have to be dead on for every shot since it is shooting a singular bullet like a large caliber rifle does.

    • @noonespecific9463
      @noonespecific9463 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you wish for non lethal home intruder protection someone makes a co2 pistol that shoots pepperspray and CS gas balls. I don’t think I could rely on some pepper spray to protect me in that situation, but if your dead set on non lethal, there it is. There are also bean bags and rubber bullets for shotguns, those rubber bullets mess up and are lethal anyway sometimes though.
