I'm sure this doesn't work for everyone but I usually wear a "regular" bra under my camisole no 5, but I use one of those bulb shaped stitch markers to pull together the straps in the back. It hides them fully for me! ✨
I do sth similar for twist loop top 😉
Theres a little do dad you can buy that does the same thing. Excellent if the stitch marker works though.
omg same!
While watching this video I am realising how much you have influenced me. I have made 4 of the tops you showed in this video (camisole no 5., square neck camisole, twist loop top and the anker tee) and already have the yarn for your Tombo Tee. I just love your style of knitting and your videos, they always cheer me up!
Im knitting up the square neck cami right now after seeing it on your channel! In the exact same color, but opted for cotton merino :) Cant wait to finish it
These tops are so beautiful 😭 all you knits, but particularly your ribbed tanks look so knit. I’d love to know what magical powers you possess to make more than 1x1 look so perfect ❤️
Yes, the 1x1 ribbing on her anker tee is so perfect, it's crazy!
Thanks for all the summer top inspiration in this video! It definitely made me want to go and try merino yarn for a summer top 😊 happy knitting!
I love watching your videos as inspiration for my style 💜 I’m new to garment knitting but I save a lot of your videos for future cast ones!
Use a butterfly clip (it’s specifically for bra straps, to pull them in at the back), to help with the tops that come in at the arm pit area. Works wonders 🥰 the come in packs of like… 3 or 5 typically in a few neutral colours
beautiful, professionally made pieces, bravo!
Love your recommendations so much! I made several of these already and I’m currently working on the Sunday Tee!
Yesss knit cami no. 9 next! So professional looking! 🤩🤩
OMG the last top is so pretty! Love the square neck silhouette combined with just plain stockinette, I don't think I've ever seen that before. Would definitely be interested in a pattern if you decide to write it up :)
I happened to see this video as I am attempting to knit a summer top for my daughter. This presents many issues. I wish you made a knit-along of the Twisted Loops top. I’d certainly follow along with you. Right now I a going through Love Letter by Kika. It is my first top ever and I am challenged. Besides that, it is quite a hope that the size will fit my daughter since she lives so far away.
I have a square neck camisole knitted out of drops flora. (and am knitting a second one) I like to wear it in spring/autumn with a cardigan or as a layering pice underneath Mesh/Lace Jumpers.
I used your double knitting tutorial to help me knit the 9am Tank by Tiffany Thai, much appreciated.
I hope you make a pattern for that last camisole,it's beautiful and I would love to make it!
your drawing at the beginning is soooo beautiful!! did you make it? thank you for this video, I'm definitely making some of the tops you mentioned💖
Hi Florence, do you think your double knitted edge tutorial will work on cami no 9? I think it’s so beautiful.
Racer-back or convertible bras could be a great solution for the camisole!
Beautiful knits and I love your yarn choices. Did you use elastic thread to reinforce the neckline of your Anker Tee? Maybe that's just for the Anker Summer tee because of the yarn it recommends, but it was a must for me.
Great podcast ❤thank you. I use a bra that you can cross the straps in the back under my camisoles. Or maybe a razor back bra.
mine can actually do that! the straps are adjustable and have different positions, I should try
I keep jokingly thinking that I need to subscribe to more channels from the southern hemisphere ... right before clicking the subscribe button ... during the coldest week this year so far. 😂 Hi, I'm new around here.
Southerner here (I have a podcast) I'm already thinking about my spring summer knits because I know I won't have them ready if I don't make my plans. I haven't even finished my winter cardigan plan because of having to rip back.
andie knits is from new zealand i think? and her channel is great, i really like her podcasts :)
@@marianadias2826 Hey. Thanks. What's the name of the channel?
Also from the Southern Hemisphere here (Central Highlands of Victoria), and happily able to wear long sleeve knitwear for most of the year (evenings are usually chilly here, even in Summer).
@@LiaSimply it's "andie knits"!
Such a nice selection!
Can I ask why you don't enjoy the cotton merino from knitting for olive as much as the merino? I was eyeing it for some summer tops, since I thought it would maybe be a little cooler while still having some stretch, but would love to know why you prefer the merino!
I think it just has a bit more cotton in it than other blends I’ve tried, so as someone who prefers merino to cotton it doesn’t suit me so well! I like it more than 100% cotton for sure, and I know a lot of people like it
Just got the Tombo tee pattern and excited to start knitting this weekend :) are you able to share what size you knitted?
it’s size B! I have around an 83cm bust measurement so hopefully that helps to figure out how much positive ease it has
Thank you. I may knit in size A. My bust size is 78cm (82cm with bra 😅) What i’d do is maybe add more stitches for the body.
I love everything you make. I thought I remembered you saying you had a tutorial for the double knit on the camisole no 5 so I came to find the video hoping for a link but I don’t find a tutorial. Do you have it in a blog? Thank you
It’s for my Robinson wrap cardigan and you can find it on my channel, but the technique is the same!
Great video, thanks!
Not knitting related, but by any chance could you tell me the colour of the wall behind you? I love it! P.s great video :)
ah this is very much a frequently asked question on this channel! it’s lakeland paints matte ‘office blue’
With the twisted loop top, you mentioned wishing you'd made it in cotton. Wouldn't you be worried it would stretch out over time?
I wish I made it in merino! Cotton would be more wearable but would definitely stretch, and I don’t like knitting with it much either
