I am having problems with connecting to my phone like other users (failed connection) please can you suggest what might be the issue, any trouble shooting if it is the password etc,I am putting in my wifi password and using the sub (not main) as on the video.
I couldn't access the cameras remotely either. I found the cable modem/router had port forwarding off by default. Turning it on fixed the problem. (port 80 and port 25 forwarding were off). You'll have to reboot your cable modem after turning port forwarding on. You also might need to change the "device/ip" field to be your cable modem ip address, not device id. Still use port 35000 when logging in. (and your ip address is NOT 192.168.1.1 :)
Lastly , since lorex dont get the phone I will opp using the old adage , dont put all you eggs into one basket, I will not buy another lorex combo but a different brand, thus not being totally shut out the next time they fire a bunch of tech people.
The instructions that came with the NVR are very poorly written. FLIR no longer is in the visible light camera business, although FLIR owns/owned Lorex, the product was sold back to the original Chinese manufacturer of the product. Downloading the phone app, although I searched for FLIR Cloud, it installs as Lorex Cloud. These instructions are only for installation on a local area network. To install the app to reach the NVR from outside the network takes a little more doing, if you understand port forwarding and so fourth, probably not a big deal. But this video sure does not explain it. I wonder why there was no voice, no speak english?
This app is no longer available in App Store. What other app can I use that is compatible with my FLIR DVR

You need to put in your DVR password, not Wi-Fi.

how did you do it? the ip address?
Where is the device ID located? I try scanning the code bit won’t work.

I’m having the same issue. So where do I locate instructions on how to download the software for my FLIR cameras?
