What’s crazy about music is even if you don’t experience what vessel has gone through and can’t relate, just through the story and his pain you feel connected. Music is truly amazing.
There is so much beautiful pain in his voice on this. Vessel puts his raw emotions into his lyrics and vocals. One of the best and criminally underrated singers.

Literally love seeing your Sleep Token journey man such good content and an amazing experience on both ends! Something to think about from a lyrical standpoint - I tend to think of Vessel's lyrics from the perspective of his relationship with 'Sleep' the deity that Sleep Token worship. Creates an interesting thought experience and so many of the songs if not all of them fit that mold. PS - The original version of this song includes the full band. This was just a solo acoustic performance.

I prefer the album version of Blood Sport for the way it plays with dynamics but I love the extra raw emotion on Vessel's vocals in the room below version. You absolutely need to hear their version of Hey Ya if you haven't, completely transforms the essence of the song and brings the lyricism out to another degree.
