Sorry, nurses (health care or child care) do school based training, even if you get usually money (health care) for it, rather than have to pay it. I would recommend to start aplication from the home country. Ausbildung starts at first of August or first of September so you should start applying a year before or at least at the start of a year. When the employer wants you, he will help you with visa, accomodation and similar things. Coming first on a visa and seeking for an Ausbildung, may cost a lot of money in advance, and may not have the wanted success. And don't ask, what kind of Ausbildung they are searching for or which is best paid. It is up to, what you like to do. After the Ausbildung you will do the job for 40 years. It would be a bad idea, to take a job you don't like, just because it is better paid or was the only one you could get so fast.
Thank you for your contribution, very much appreciated. I'll pin this so everyone can read this as well, as you have rightfully said, this is a job you'll do for a while so it is best to make sure you aren't doing it for any other reason other than the fact that you enjoy it.
Thanks actually this is my first time watching you and that is super, i want apply for Ausbildung for Automotive company but don't really know how to start please i will need your assistance please
Thank you for watching. You have to apply to them, the process is the same as any other Ausbildung. Search for trainings in your field of choice and apply actively. Your language skills should also be at a high or intermediate level, just make sure you fulfil all the necessary requirements.
I was born in Germany lived there for 12 years and now I live in England for 8 years 😭 I’m trying to do an apprenticeship in England but they are so hard and difficult to get into now I’m thinking of just going back
Hi Khadijah, You can apply for Apprenticeships in Germany. I assume you speak German to a reasonable extent, so language will not be a problem. Do you already know what you want to do? Then start reaching out to establishments for a possible placement.
It depends on the requirement of the specific training you are applying for. Kindly check the training requirements and apply accordingly. All the best
Thank you Angela. The interview can be conducted via Skype, Teams or any other provider. This depends on the company or school you are applying to. Regarding the visa, you can find more information regarding requirements on the consulate's website. The visa is similar to the job seeker's visa if you choose to come to Germany first before applying for an apprenticeship. I hope this clarifies, if not, please let me know. 🤎
Hi Kingsley, There are mobile applications available for learning any language of your choice, you can also simply register at a language institute in your country of residence. Some language schools offer virtual classes, so you can join from anywhere around the world. Kindly carry out a search to find what offers are available. All the best!
You will have to discuss this with the company. The contract is needed to apply for the visa, they might offer you accommodation but you pay the rent/bills yourself. This just eases the stress of looking for accommodation on your own.

it was a great video and I get all the information that I need about Ausbildung but there's only one thing that I may not understand completely or misunderstand the time required to get an answer for Ausbildung is 2 to 4 years and one other question do you know any other way to immigrate in a maximum of one year ( I am a mechanical engineer fresh graduate)
Hi Aras, the duration of the training is 2 - 4 years. The application is completely different and would depend on the company being applied or their processing times. That being said, about migrating to Germany you can watch my video about the 5 ways to migrate to Germany. There are options - you can apply for a job seeker's visa (a 6 months visa) allowing you to search for a job in Germany - apply for a masters degree - or apply directly to companies from your home country, your field is categorised as one with shortage of skilled workers. There, look into each and see which suits you. All the best! 😊
Hi Detutu......Nice video you gave. What do you advise on taking the following steps to come to Germany via ausbildung: 1.Get any of the A1-B1 German Lang training and certification 2.Apply for a job .(Not sure of you need to present your resume in german) 3.Present your qualifications in German to the employer 4.Waut for a job offer Pls advise if I'm right Also when I contacted one of the top institute in Lagos. They told me it would take me about 9months to bag a a level B1 German and that time seems too long for me. Is there another way to bag this certification within a shorter period
Hi Abo, Learning anything takes time and the German language is new territory for you, so yes 9 months is a good enough time to learn till B1 considering you aren't "immersed" in the language i.e. in Germany. There are no shortcuts to learning the language most people who choose to study in German commit 12 months to learn till C1. For a vocational training, your CV should be in German except otherwise stated. A job offer can be found in the drop down of the list of opportunities available that you can find in the description box of the video. If you already have some experience in a field that is in high demand, you can opt for the job seekers visa instead and get a job via this route.
