This is great news. Part of me thinks that old shops and malls could be preserved like this, because sometimes there’s hardly any evidence remaining of certain places, just a handful of photos and videos, and our own memories.

the best part about this site is that they let you stare at the Spike Spiegel Spot, but every artwork and doodle is amazing at weaving past/present cartoons together, first-times and last-times, artist signatures and studio tributes
I actually got to draw a tiny doodle of my persona character a little over a decade ago when a family friend who worked at CN gave me a tour when I was 15 or so. I was sad I’d never see that doodle again but I was able to find it on the website and take screenshots! I think it was on the third floor, on the outer wall of the stairwell, and it depicts a girl with pikachu ears and glasses saying “Help” while they’re holding onto the bottom end of the railing that’s connected to the wall. It was hard to find, but my cringe little drawing was there
It's so great to see CN's artists still care so much for the magic they've given to us all. Especially given the atrocious state of the industry right now it just feels it's a lot harder for people to care when everything is going up in flames. I admire that endurance. But yes, either way we're in a new era of Cartoon Network now. There's a chance they can turn things around again. Even if the last era met a grizzly end, and this era a rough start.
