I agree! People can price their items whatever they want. I wouldn’t have brought it up if he didn’t have comps on his stuff from over a year ago. It made no sense.
Fyi, you may know this, but if you go down to settings in the ebay app, you can set it to permanently lock on sold so you don't have to select sold every time while hunting. Time saver! :)
@@eelobrian6727 yea I used to use it. I actually took it off because I like to see how many items that are currently active. This gives me a better understanding of the sell through rate.

But even if I was pricing on exact ebay prices, I wouldn't put it on a sticky note saying I did that (cause then you are just inviting people to look it up right there and argue with you on recent solds or even listed prices).
@@pickingandpunching Oh yeah for sure, obviously don't use outdated prices - that hurts you both ways, either scares away buyers or you sell stuff for way below comps

That's how I feel at comic shops when they look up prices of books at the counter online. Big time turn off and not even worth my time waiting around mostly. Not looking to flip books, but if it's something for my collection, I don't want to pay triple the price either@ have a great day man & much ❤
I end up buying less at cards and comic shops when they have to look up prices. I just hate to keep asking about prices. I like it when the prices are on the items. I can make a stack and have a general idea on what I am going to be buying.
