Same as what Meghan felt, I also found that the Triumph 20's forefoot area was a bit too firm / dead. The heel area is ok. Returned mine. Perhaps the density changed for the Triumph 21 or something. Run Like Heller said the same thing for the 20.

Maybe there are more variations among different factories or even among different batches of shoes from the same factory than we tend to believe. It's not the first time that I hear people having radically different opinions of the same shoe that are hard to explain. For instance, I've heard people saying the Novablast 3 feels blocky and dead and I can't explain how their experience could be so different from mine except for some margin of error related to production issues. And just like you can have one shoe that weights 5, 6, 7 grams more or less than the other shoe from the same pair you've just bought, from the same factory, maybe you can have even more noticeable variations in cushioning, resilience, etc. among shoes from different factories or batches.
Not Megan.. But.. I enjoy the triumph line considerably more than the Morev4. MoreV4 is just too bulky, Similar to the GEL-Cumulus. Felt like you were trying to jump outta a marshmallow or mud.
I've been running for 4-5 years now, and loved the triumph 18 and 19 for my long runs, just super comfortable and sturdy cushion with a bit of squish - that I could run 20+ km's and still feel like it was protecting me. I've only just started using the 20, for 2 months now and I am not enjoying it as much as 18/19. Like Meg says I too feel like the cushion feels dead, there's no squish. I keep on hoping it "just needs time to break in". So it's promising that the 21 feels better, thanks for the review!

Question, are Saucony shoes different in width for men and women sizes? Thismone is too narrow for me and I wonder if buying a mens version would make sense.
I agreed with Meghan's comment about the fit around those midfoot support laces in the Triumph 20's - the laces felt bit loose in that area due to no friction. They fixed that just by shortening those midfoot cinch laces?
I picked up the Cloudsurfer without even considering this one for daily trainer, LR and recovery shoe because it has all the attributes but in a lighter, more nimble package.
Upper looks to me a lot like the Saucony Freedom 1. Enjoyed that shoe, but never tried again because I wasn’t into the later versions. I did not like the Triumph 17 and haven’t tried one since. I own Speed v1, but I’m not a huge fan of speed roll and prefer a flexible forefoot, so they barely have 200 miles on them. This one looks great, but I’m not sure I like the TPU midsole.
i also had the triumph 17. it was very jarring my shin didn't like it at all. i cursed the triumph line i said i won't even try any saucony triumph again😂 perhaps because i bought it full price when newly released plus shipping and import tax
First 🎉 20 was nice - but only easy miles for me I felt the weight… but super comfy For mid / forefoot strikers - I felt like I could have used more midsole under the forefoot as opposed to the heel
That blind test is a great idea! Y'all should try a blindfolded guess the shoe game, maybe on a treadmill or something!
They kind of did this in collaboration with Running Warehouse but it was them feeling the shoe with their hands, not actually wearing them.

nimbus is more soft and squishy, triumph is more bouncy but more firm.

Triumph 20 was my favorite shoe, possibly of all time!!! The upper in the T21 feels a little more snug, narrow… mixed feelings on the T21!
